This traditional 200-year-old house is located in the village of Poliani in Messinia at a height of 680 meters in the hill of Taygetos. The village is surrounded by verdant mountain tops as it spreads in a fertile plain full of apple trees, walnuts and grain crossed by two rivers. Historically, Poliani has recorded over 45 Byzantine churches until today, while the Byzantine church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary survives with remarkable frescoes of the 12th century
