The host is very pleasant on arrival. It's a cute little apartment, much smaller than appears on advertisement, with some of the original photos belonging to an upper room unit; of which we were on the ground floor. The lighting is very dim it was difficult to see. The double bed consists of two single beds pushed together which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. One was definitely used more than the other and felt more or less like sleeping on the wood slats/frame of the bed. We were informed a day into our stay that some inevitable construction needed to be done to the roof that was unforseen...this evolved into a project involving the whole of the house, the remainder of our stay was surrounded by scaffolding, construction workers, and construction work beginning promptly at 0700. We weren't able to utilize the outside patio, or outside at all really and the apartment was really only a usable space for the evening/to sleep. The host was not open to engaging in conversation about the ongoing work which was disappointing.
The fridge is noisy and the tv is tiny. It's clean which was good. We would not return there to stay. The biggest issue was that there was an unwillingness to see how the construction was impacting us as visitors and the communication was very poor. The transparency of the host was non existent. A major renovation project was underway, this was not a simple repair of a roof which was the original messaging provided. All in all, we were not impressed
