The Neighborhood
Some call the neighborhood of Bishops, steps from Bellavista neighborhood and Italy neighborhood, is a quiet residential area, which allows you to relax without noise and at the same time with very easily access to the busiest areas of the city. With excellent connection to public transport, 5 minutes subway or bus stop, the neighborhood offers in minutes be in the downtown or the famous Costanera Center. In Bellavista neighborhood (10 min walk) you can find restaurants and pubs frequented by tourists and visiting attractive areas such as the Zoo, San Cristobal Hill, Pablo Neruda's home or Patio Bellavista (Shows, pubs and restaurants ). On the other hand, Barrio Italia is characterized by good restaurants, design and antique shops, a little less crowded by tourists, this neighborhood can surprise you with its shops.
How to move from the apartment (You can use the free bikes that are include)
Moving in Santiago from the apartment is very easy, either by car or public transport. If you drive, it's best to rent GPS, anyway access to the main roads of Santiago is immediate. My recommendation is to move in public transport as the apartment is very well located, if you want to go to downtown the best way is walk to the Baquedano metro station (opposite direction to Andes mountain), and if you want to go to Costanera Center must walk to Metro Salvador (direction to the Andes mountain), both stations are located on the Providencia street and are between 5 and 8 minutes walk. Anyway, when you arrive i could give you more advices.
