The archaeological site of Abdera and the port of Abdera are 2 km away.
A little further down there is the "Meze" - Breakfast & Grill with Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with a market and just below the famous beach bar of Myrodatos and the "Gorgona" Fish Tavern of Karatsoponaki.
Also within 5 km are the beautiful Avdira with taverns, pizzerias and shops. The neighborhood consists of holiday homes and its inhabitants are quiet and welcoming.
In the summer months there were regular public transport throughout the day with the city of Xanthi (30 km).
