Nice villa in a quiet gated community

This is a four bedroom property in a guard gated community about 10 minutes drive from the Medina. It has a courtyard with small plunge pool and the community has a larger swimming pool just steps away. The property is in generally good condition, and there is a lady of the house who come each morning and can make an excellent breakfast if you buy the ingredients. She can also make a dinner that you can heat up later. My only substantial gripe is the hot water heater for the two courtyard bedrooms is much too small for more than two people. Cold showers for the 3rd and 4th people is not fun, but we managed.

holiday in a fantastic riad!

Just back from a wonderful week at this lovely riad. We stayed with 8 adults and there was enough space for everyone. And how we enjoyed: beautifully maintained landscaped park, the small swimming pool in the riad and the large swimming pool, which was directly behind it. But especially from Amal and her sister!! What a pleasure: the most delicious meals were prepared by them. But we were also pampered by them on other fronts, which gave us a very luxurious and real holiday feeling. We found the location perfect, an oasis of calm, about 5 km outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Check-in could be a bit easier. The address was correct, but the number of the riad was not made known to us, which caused a small delay.

Beautiful Riad but poor host experience

The location provided is listed as Bab Doukkala, but it’s incorrect, making the riad difficult to find. The riad itself is lovely and includes a housekeeper, which is a nice touch. We left a tip for the housekeeper at the end of our stay, but the host later contacted me after checkout, insisting on a larger tip, despite the listing not mentioning any tipping requirement. She even sent an unrelated listing in French to justify her demands. While the riad is beautiful, the host’s stinginess with supplies and this behavior diminished the experience.

Pretty little Riad - hard to access

The property is cute, clean, well maintained, and the helping lady was amazing. We had issues getting to the property. The address on the ad is not the right one. We tried all 3 versions of the address on the Abritel announcement and the check-in message none of them was right. We turned in circles for an hour in the heat of Marrakesh. The owner could have mentioned on the online ad that waze is the only app that can recognize the place instead of putting a random address. The owner could have used GPS coordinates to facilitate the arrival procedure. When the owner finally called it turned out the phone on the check-in message is that of the neighbor and should not be used. And the address is not the right one either. Horrible first day, complicated and exhausting check-in. The rest of the stay was smooth.

Marie Pierre nous a trÚs bien guidé avant notre séjour et a été de trÚs bons conseils durant notre présence dans son Riad. Ce dernier est magnifique, trÚs bien aménagé dans un parc arboré et calme en cette période de Noel. Saida avec toute sa délicatesse, nous a concocté de succulents repas. Notre famille ( trois générations) a apprécié ce séjour à quelques minutes en voiture du centre ville.

Riad trÚs agréable dans La Palmeraie

TrĂšs beau riad plein de charme dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t. L'endroit est calme au sein d'une rĂ©sidence sĂ©curisĂ©e avec un jardin luxuriant trĂšs bien entretenu et une grande piscine magnifique qui ajoute confort et bien ĂȘtre dans cet environnement apaisant.Nous y avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour en famille.Nous avons Ă©tĂ© ravis par la gentillesse et la disponibilitĂ© de Loubna l'adorable employĂ©e de maison. Cette derniĂšre trĂšs bonne cuisiniĂšre nous a prĂ©parĂ© des dĂ©licieux petits-dĂ©jeuners et repas marocains. Pour se rendre au riad, le mieux est d'utiliser Waze.Compte tenu de l'emplacement, il est conseillĂ© de se dĂ©placer en taxis ou en voiture de location (attention le stationnement n'est pas aisĂ© dans Marrakech).Communication trĂšs bonne avec Marie-Pierre la propriĂ©taire du riad, disponible, Ă  l'Ă©coute et prolifique en bons conseils pour un sĂ©jour rĂ©ussi.

Le riad est trĂšs beau , l'hygiĂšne irrĂ©prochables, Amal et Nazeha sont adorables. On a louĂ© des voitures chez sixt , il faut quand mĂȘme ĂȘtre Ă  l'aise avec la conduite au Maroc ( les routes sont dangereuses , aucunes rĂšgles de circulation, nous connaissions dĂ©jĂ  cela mais pour les personnes non averties ça peut ĂȘtre trĂšs compliquĂ©). Au vu de l'emplacement du riad , on est obligĂ© de sortir trĂšs rĂ©guliĂšrement en voiture faire des courses ( rien d'assez prĂȘt Ă  pied) et pour accĂ©der aux zones frĂ©quentĂ©s le taxi est conseillĂ© car le stationnement est trĂšs compliquĂ© voir impossible, du coup c'est pas forcĂ©ment de tout repos en terme de logistique. Pour les activitĂ©s qui nĂ©cessitent une prise en charge par l'organisateur ils viennent vous chercher au riad assez facilement. la rĂ©sidence est sĂ©curisĂ© et trĂšs propre, les gardiens sont adorables et rĂ©actifs.

Excellent sĂ©jour : cadre magnifique dans la palmeraie, calme et bien entretenu quotidiennement par les jardiniers. Quant au Riad, dĂ©corĂ© avec beaucoup de goĂ»t. Seul bĂ©mol : composĂ© de 4 chambres avec uniquement des lits doubles (pas de lits simples). Dommage ! Point trĂšs trĂšs positifs : la qualitĂ© des services. Amel et Latifa sont aux petits soins : tous les plats prĂ©parĂ©s sont excellents. Deux personnes trĂšs attachantes toujours souriantes et aimables Ă  l’image de l’hospitalitĂ© marocaine. Ayant dĂ©jĂ  sĂ©journĂ© dans ce riad il y a quelques annĂ©es, c'est avec bonheur que nous y sommes retournĂ©s en couple et avec nos amis. Lieu privilĂ©giĂ© par son calme, son charme, son confort et SURTOUT.... les bons plats cuisinĂ©s chaleureusement par Amal et sa sƓur Latifa ! TrÚs belle expérience.

Le riad est situĂ© dans une petite copropriĂ©tĂ© de 30 villas ce qui permet de bĂ©nĂ©ficier du calme tout en Ă©tant Ă  15 minutes de la Place. La procĂ©dure d'arrivĂ©e Ă©tait parfaite et Hassania nous avait prĂ©parĂ© le repas. En 10 minutes ont est en vacances. Les chambres sont spacieuses, dĂ©corĂ©es sobrement et les lits sont confortables. Nous sommes rĂ©galĂ©s des plats cuisinĂ©s et de l'humour et de la gentillesse d'Hassania. Superbe piscine dans la rĂ©sidence, trĂšs beau jardin, un havre de paix. Merci Ă©galement Ă  Marie Pierre pour les Ă©changes. Info: pour la wifi il faut acheter une carte sur place 20€ illimitĂ© et il vaut mieux prendre les petits taxis en leurs demandant de mettre le compteur.

Merveilleux souvenirs de notre sĂ©jour en famille pour le nouvel an, le riad est trĂšs agrĂ©able aprĂšs une bonne journĂ©e Ă  sillonner les rues de Marrakech. La localisation est idĂ©ale. Sans oublier Rachida, excellente maĂźtresse de maison et cuisiniĂšre. CrĂȘpes, jus d’orange, gĂąteaux, couscous, frites et tajines en tout genre .... adultes comme enfants nous nous sommes rĂ©galĂ©s ! Pour une dĂ©couverte de Marrakech, le riad a contribuĂ© fortement au succĂšs de notre sĂ©jour. Nous reviendrons sans hĂ©siter. Merci encore.

Nous avons passĂ© un super sĂ©jour . Super maison , trĂšs spacieuse ( nous Ă©tions 5 ) avec tout ce qu il faut comme Ă©quipement ( noter qu il faut payer le wifi en plus pour se connecter et nous sommes assez consommateurs avec des ados 😊) . Que dire de Rachida ?! Elle rend le lieu juste fabuleux !!! D’abord par son extrĂȘme gentillesse puis par ses talents de cuisiniĂšre . Nous nous sommes rĂ©galĂ© toute la semaine entre ses plats et ses gĂąteaux . De la vraie cuisine marocaine au top !!! C'était un séjour au calme et trÚs reposant, Rachida était trÚs adorable et trÚs sympathique... Elle était aussi au top de ses prestations, les plats étaient succulents et et les enfants se sont régalés avec ses gùteaux à l'orange.... Notre semaine a Ă©tĂ© gĂąchĂ©e le dernier jour lorsque Rachida nous a rĂ©clamĂ© son salaire sur le pas de la porte. Pas qu'il soit indu ou trop onĂ©reux, cependant nous n'avions plus de liquide et prĂȘt Ă  partir pour l’aĂ©roport. Total nous avons du aller au distributeur, revenir, partir au pas de course. Total nous avons du dĂ©bourser 900 euros pour reprendre des billets car nous sommes arrivĂ©s 10 mn aprĂšs l'heure de fermeture de l'enregistrement. Autant dire que mes vacances ont Ă©tĂ© lourdement assombries.

Nous avons pu passer un agréable séjour en famille à Marrakech dans votre Riad trÚs fonctionnel et bien entretenu. La piscine est trÚs agréable aussi. Les petits enfants se sont régalés. Et Rachida , une perle, excellente cuisiniÚre avec ses bons petits plats, trÚs disponible et a gùté les enfants avec ses gùteaux.
