Tallaringa Views

Tallaringa Views offer an idyllic romantic hideaway for couples. Just a short drive to superb beaches, restaurants and rainforests and a picturesque 25 minute drive to Byron Bay. Each cottage has a king size bed and is designed for just one couple.

Fall asleep in the hammock with the cool summer breezes or warm yourselves by the wood fire in winter. Relax on the deck (at dusk you may see wallabies grazing nearby) or soak in the spa in your own private courtyard. Wake in the morning to the call of the birds as you look out over the treetops.

The two light and airy open plan cottages are each fully self-contained and offer you peace, tranquillity and above all privacy. Your own little world for as long as you choose to stay.

Browse the local markets, villages and galleries or explore the national parks. Feeling energetic, then hike to the creek on our 65 acre property for a swim, a fish or simply to enjoy its beauty. You can hire a tennis court nearby or play a round of golf at the picturesque Teven Valley Golf Course (9 holes) just 3 km down the road.

Situated between the mountains and the coast you have the best of both worlds.

The perfect hideaway

This little treasure in the trees was the perfect getaway from a busy life. The cabin is even better in person. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect if you like an early start to the day with sunrise and birds song. We can't wait to come back 😁

Bliss

The cabin was just such a beautiful escape! A perfect place to switch off and relax and swing from the hammock or indulge in an outdoor bath. The cabin was clean and well equipped and the bedding was high quality. The only issues were the very saggy and squeaky bed and the lack of mobile reception (though there were some spots where you could get a little 3G signal) which if you’re after a real switch off might be a bonus!

Stayed for 5 Nights, we were very impressed with the location, quiet and away from others, very tranquil setting in a beutiful part of the country, would have liked a bigger TV as the cricket was on and i like my TV bigger than the 32" that was available, no other issues, thank you

Absolutely loved our stay surrounded by tranquil rainforest with nothing but the sounds of nature ! The cabin was beyond our expectations! Beautiful spa on the back decking ! Gorgeous breakfasts on the patio ! Only a 10 minute drive to local towns ! Will definitely be back !

Great retreat!

This was a very nice place to come and relax at. It was beautiful waking up to the sounds of nature. Elizabeth was communicative and informative when required. Our only critique was the creekyness of the bed. The wires in the frame has had better days and really needs to be replaced. It definitely impacted the quality of our sleep.

Romantic getaway in the hinterland

Little cottage was perfect. Located on top of the hill with magnificent views. Perfect location close enough to all places of interest. Or you can just not move and soak up th quiet an relaxation. Amenities are great. Spa was a hit. Kitchen and bbq good for cooking any meals. Stayed 3 nights and loved it.

Tranquility amongst the treetops

What a gorgeous piece of paradise. This little getaway was so idyllic and peaceful. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy a short stay. We made use of the fire place and outdoor spa. Bed was very comfortable and we loved our night here.

Fabulous get away

Exceeded expectation. It was so good just to turn up and everything was provided. Super clean and tidy! No dust or smells. Perfect view and comfortable bed. I would recommend this property to any couple needing to recharge after a busy lifestyle.

Beautiful cottage, lovely spot.

We loved our weekend at Cedar Cottage. It was so peaceful and secluded yet a great base for exploring the surrounding towns and coast. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect for a blissful weekend away!

Elizabeth's place was absolutely perfect. Views to the hinterland and the fireplace from your bed, short drive to the beach and hinterland townships. Loved the spa bath out the back of the cottage, total privacy. We managed to get very lucky and see an echidna right in front of the cottage as well. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful cabin situated close to so many places! The cabin is peaceful and beautifully presented with everything you need for an unforgettable weekend. Day trips to Lennox, Byron & Newrybar are a must and so close. Highly recommend!

The hammocks on the deck, the wood fire, the outdoors spa, the trees and birds and the shower with the glass window wall. So many things made our stay amazing!! While we were relaxing in the spa a possum stopped to have a stare at us! Beautiful and relaxing.

Perfect for a romantic escape!

We had a very friendly welcome at Tallaringa views & every aspect of our stay was wonderful. The cottages are cosy with lovely views over rolling hills. The view can be enjoyed comfortably from the deck (hammock supplied), or from the bed. The spa bath & shower are pure luxury! The bed itself was very comfy & the linens fresh & crisp. We enjoyed a walk to the creek and it was well worth the steep climb back. Perfect for a romantic getaway & a short drive to many excellent local attractions.
