The apartment:
Occupying the top two floors of the chalet, with two privately-owned apartments underneath, this stunning luxury self-catering duplex apartment is situated on a quiet road on the edge of Morzine.
Just 25 minutes walk from the centre of the village, and only 200 metres from the ski bus stop with its free bus service, it is ideally situated for both small groups and families.
Access to restaurants, night life and the ski slopes surrounding Morzine is easy, and the chalet benefits from a peaceful location.
The living/dining/kitchen areas:
There are stairs up from the apartment entrance to the stunning top floor, which incorporates the fully fitted kitchen, dining and living areas plus the pool table and two balconies with mountain views. There is also a separate toilet with washbasin on this floor.
Guests can enjoy breathtaking mountain views from one of the balconies, or relax in front of the wood fire in the centre of the open plan living area. The interior combines modern luxuries with traditional Savoyard charm, providing a stylish and comfortable ambiance - perfect for socializing after a busy day in the mountains
The bedrooms:
There are four en-suite bedrooms on the entrance level to the apartment. All bedrooms have a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and double doors opening onto a balcony.
One bedroom has a king size double bed plus shower, toilet and washbasin, three bedrooms have twin beds, showers, toilets and washbasins (one twin has a bath with overhead shower).
Ideally sleeping 8 people, there are two fold-up beds available (perhaps more suitable for children/teenagers) that fit in two of the twin rooms to increase capacity to ten.
Ski and bike storage:
There is a secure ski boot room (for use by our apartment only), close to the front door of the chalet and separate to the apartment, with a heated boot rack , where ski boots, skis, snow boards and helmets can be stored. This area is ideal for storing bikes in the summer.
Morzine information:
A vibrant town winter and summer, it is easy to access the main ski lifts by using the free bus service which runs regularly throughout the day and early evening.
There is a great choice of good quality restaurants, bars and cafes, plus lots of bakeries and food shops.
There are several clothes shops and ski equipment hire outlets for the winter, and bike hire for the summer months.
The resort in winter:
Morzine is a well-established mountain resort which is ideal for families. Fabulous in winter for skiiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and walking with its traditional atmosphere, wooded slopes and massive ski areas - 600 km of pistes in the Portes du Soleil with 120km in the Morzine/Les Gets areas.

Morzine changes in the summer to a flower-bedecked haven for cyclists, mountain bikers, golfers, runners and walkers.
There is a park by the river with a horse riding centre, a keep-fit track and a childrens' play area

Getting there:
Morzine is situated 50 miles/80 kms from Geneva airport.
Driving from the UK is easy and straightforward; we regularly drive and it usually takes nine hours including meal/fuel stops from Morzine to Calais - 540 miles/850 kms - a long way but on quiet roads compared to the heavy traffic of the UK.
