Relaxing family stay

Great property for extended family to share with easy access to beach and all the facilities we needed. Kids had a wonderful time on the beach. Easy drive to Hervey Bay and surrounds. Great cafes x 2 walking distance from house.

Wow wow..where do I start......, the house was great, the location excellent, all the extras that made our stay so special was a lovely surprise so overall our stay was much much more than I ever imagined. Thank you Hugh, I will certainly be recommending to my friends.

Great location and size

This property is in an awesome location and a great size for a family. Disappointing is the cleaning and upkeep of the property e.g. yard is a mess, dead flies and bugs all over the house, multiple light bulbs not working and pretty sure the oven is a safety issue. Also would have been nice to know about the lack of window coverings. Thank you

Wonderful peaceful oasis with everything you need

Hugh was wonderful to deal with. A lovely home. The area so peaceful, right on the beach. The home itself caters to large families. A great layout letting people relax and have opportunities to chill out in their own space. Great rumpus games areas. Everything one could need and more. A bonus having linen supplied. All the appliances and implements required for a great stay. All soaps supplied. Making a very easy and comfortable stay. We will be back

Wonderful!

Hugh’s Property is so lovely, comfy beds and there was enough space for everyone! We saw turtles whilst SUP’ing in the inlet. We all had lots of fun with the ping pong table and all the added extra’s. Was so easy with all the supplies in the kitchen. Overall, highly recommend for big groups who want to take a time out!

Almost perfect.

The house was great. Unfortunately the weather turned nasry after first couple of days which turned the beach water into mangrove tea colour. So swimming was only for the brave. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay.

Great location and well fitted out house

The house, whilst dated, was very well fitted out and had everything you could possible need. The location couldn't be better and having direct beach access was great. Hugh communicated promptly and clearly leading up to our arrival and the whole check-in process was easy. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to have a nice relaxing holiday in Toogoom.

Perfect beachside stay

We had an incredible stay. House was incredibly clean with lots of thoughtful extras. It is so nice to go away and not have to bring linen. Great space for kids and adults. Our dog was welcomed and had a fabulous stay as well. Hugh is very responsive to messages and any issues. We are already booked again.

The place is literally right on the beach

My dogs loved it . Excellent dog beach at the back door . Does need a dog fence . Landlord is addressing that I believe .

We enjoyed our stay at house with the beach at our back door. Everything you need for a lazy week away. Quiet spot with a couple of great eateries. Owner was very helpful when we had issues with the fridge, he organised a new one immediately.
