Possum's Retreat Garden BnB

"Possum"s Retreat" - a cute and appealing B&B room with queen size bed in a waterfront residence in Erowal Bay, only 2 minutes drive from stunning Hyams Beach.
We have 2 rooms available, both with a private entry and a deck with a leafy garden outlook.
Both rooms have a private bathroom, one with a large walk- in shower. A fridge and tea and coffee making facilities are available in both rooms. Our White Sands rooms also has a toaster and a coffee machine. An optional continental breakfast is usually available (for this room only) comprising delicious home-made and local produce.
Stroll with your breakfast hamper, down to the waterfront reserve adjoining the property, where you may be greeted by the local kangaroos.
The area boasts abundant wildlife, including kookaburras, king parrots, rosellas, cockatoos, kangaroos and the resident possums.
It's only minutes from cafes, restaurants, bars, the famous "Husky Pub", and the amenities of Vincentia and Huskisson.
Just a short walk away is the Erowal Bay General Store, which is also licensed for takeaway alcohol. Delicious home made pizzas are available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Enjoy local activities such as swimming, whale and dolphin watching, surfing, fishing, kayaking, bicycle riding, tennis and golf.
Friendly and engaging hosts, Vicky and Col, will be happy to help with any local information and requirements.

Possum’s Retreat was perfect for us! Hosts are beautiful with their advice for adventures around the area, which was awesome to do. We will definitely organise another booking at the Possum’s Retreat when we’re down there again.

Peaceful and Welcoming Stay at Possums Retreat in Erowal Bay

My husband and I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Possums Retreat - White Sands room in Erowal Bay. The room was spotless, with all the essentials and a private bathroom. The property is perfectly located right on the water, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The owner was lovely, very communicative, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience—we'd definitely return!

Cosy accommodation

The space was small but set up well for our overnight stay for a wedding nearby. Cute little table just outside the door for taking refreshments overlooking the garden. Well signposted on the street. We appreciated Vicky responding promptly to our communications and allowing an early check in to meet the wedding start time.

Friendly & clean

Communication & check in was easy. Accomodation was compact but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Our hosts were very friendly and full of useful information about the local area. To be honest I hadn’t noticed that there was no air con in the blurb, but the ceiling fans and the windows let in a good breeze and kept the temperature comfortable. There is a courtesy bus home to the door on Friday & Saturday nights from Huskisson pub & club. A lovely quiet little spot to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Huskisson.

Great location, easy to book, Vicky was very helpful with all the local information.Only negative was coffee mugs needed tea/coffee stains cleaned. Maybe a small hanging rack near internal door, we came down for a wedding and nowhere to hang suit and dress.

Excellent stay

Vicky's place Possum's Retreat is lovely. A beautiful large ensuite room with an outside deck as well, a lot of care and attention has gone into making the room extremely comfortable and has everything you need including a fridge, tea making facilities and tv. All the furnishings are high quality, comfy bed and very large spacious bathroom. Perfect for a long weekend away and I love the area, close to the national park, only 10mins to Huskisson and 5 mins to Vincentia, excellent hospitality from Vicky and Col, highly recommend and shall definitely be back!

A Pleasant stay at Possums Retreat

Stayed in Possums Retreat with my girlfriend for three evenings and this quaint accommodation provided the much needed getaway. Vicky was very helpful during our check in and was very accommodating with any other queries we had. The accommodation is as advertised and was perfect for 1-2 people - especially since we spent most of our time in the surrounding beaches, national park and Huskisson. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.
