Archery tournament/vacation

We went to Daytona for our sons world archery tournament and made it into a vacation. Cindy was great to work with. Any questions/concerns, she was easy to communicate with and quick to fix any issues. Description of property was exactly as she described. Will definitely book with her again in the future!! Everything was awesome!!

Beach getaway!

We decided on a last minute getaway and this was the perfect place. Easy check in and was even able to check in early which was wonderful. Amazing pools and the beach was great! Many places to check out around the property. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Daytona Beach Front Property

Superb condo overlooking Daytona Beach. Well maintained property that was exactly what we were looking at for a vacation getaway. If we decide to visit Daytona again, we will definitely look at this condo on VRBO as a prime option. Definitely first class

Great vacation!

We stayed in the Ocean View Condo Daytona Beach and really loved it. The condo was clean, comfortable, and close to many stores and restaurants. We had one question for the owner and she responded quickly. The entire facility was very nice, with big pools, a lazy river, and easy access to the ocean. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect

The condo was in the perfect spot. Located right above the pool just high enough to enjoy the view. Just around the corner from the parking garage on the 6th floor. The room was immaculate and we had a great time. Will definitely rent again.

Great!!

We enjoyed our annual stay at Wyndham Oceanwalk and this unit on the 6th floor was great for the view and parking! We appreciated the tile floor, pull out couch for the kids, full kitchen with dish ware, and the amenities of the resort. We spent all day at the splash pad, 2 pools, lazy river, slide, and beach! Decent options nearby for drinks and food.

Great Resort

We have visited ocean walk several times prior. All in all it is the best resort as far as amenities goes. I was disappointed that one of the hot tubs was often closed and the other one was very crowded. As far as I could tell there was nothing wrong with the other one. Also, the slide was shut down several days and when it was open there was a weight restriction of 150 lbs. as we have visited many time before , we knew this wasn’t always the case. We were told they were slow so they weren’t opening it some days and then the weight restriction was because it was getting old. This was very disappointing, if it is getting old , replace it! Don’t get me wrong, overall a great place for Daytona but this last experience has made me re think about just always going to Ocean Walk.

Perfect!

I have rented alot of condos at Oceanwalk. This one is perfect and as described! Great location. Comfortable mattress. Clean!!!! Cindy responded quickly to questions and was very courteous! Will absolutely rent again!!!! :)

Excellent condo in fantastic resort

Condo was wonderful. Very clean throughout. Bed was comfy. Had a starter supply of paper products and toiletries. Didn't use kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. Condo was just around the corner from elevators so very convenient to get to. Resort was in excellent, safe location with shops and restaurants next door and right by main pier and boardwalk. Pool area was fantastic and right next to beach. Had a wonderful time here!!!

short get away with our grandchildren

My husband, myself and 2 of our grandchildren stayed at Ocean walk. we loved the location, over looking the pools and the beach. we could see the fire works on the pier. The room was just as the pictures show. The check in process was very easy, we walked right up and checked in. The line for the elevators can get a little long. Also, sometimes it's hard to get a chair at the pool. Those are just a little annoyances. The room was great!

Property is great, room needs renovated.

I had a great spring break with my kids staying in this unit. The property has a lot to offer the kids, and convenient to restaurants and shops. We had a gorgeous view of the beach, nice to wake up to. The actual unit itself needs renovated, but it looks like this floor is scheduled for renovations in November/December. The kids thought the bed was comfortable, I did not. The bedroom faces the hallway, which has a light on all night and the shades don't drown it out. We did not sleep on the pull-out couch, it was too thin of a mattress. All of this being said, we had everything we needed, oven/stove/fridge work, great to have a washer/dryer to use daily. Cindy is great with communicating. I would definitely come back for another visit, just hoping it is part of the scheduled renovation.

Great location and view. Needs updated.

The room had a great view. Pool and beach area were great. Near beach bandshell that had free concerts. Bed was comfortable. We parked on 6th floor of garage and the walk to the room was less than 50’. But…The photos do not look like the unit. Different furniture. No living room rug or coffee table as shown in photos. TV is very small in living room. Everything looks old and outdated. Needs to be remodeled. Toilet didn’t work right. Cabinet door under sink was broken. Stains on couch arm. One ice cube tray. One kitchen towel. At $400 a night all in we expected more. We didn’t complain since we were only there for a few days and didn’t want to wait around for people to come by. I think the units on the Wyndham end (North) may be in better condition as well as other units on the South end.

It was okay, frustrated with staff at the condo

The condo itself was fine. Not great, but okay. We were very frustrated with the staff at the check in area. We arrived early (1:00) and asked if the room would be ready for check in an earlier than 4:00. The staff said, “It has not been cleaned. We had someone there last night and it has not been cleaned. We will call you when the room has been cleaned and then you can go to your room.” No problem. We went by the room just to see where it was and then we were going to go eat lunch. The curtains/blinds were open. We looked in and it appeared to be clean and bed made and ready to go. We then left to eat lunch and walked around the hotel. Around 2:30 we returned to the front desk and enquired again. They glanced at the computer and said “ It’s not cleaned. We will call you.” We we’re very frustrated because the room already looked ready. So we waited longer. Looked in the window again and nothing had changed. At 4:00 we walked up to the desk and without looking at the computer or anything they said “So sorry for your wait, here are your keys. They just finished cleaning it. “. Honestly, I didn’t say a word because I was frustrated BUT I didn’t want to accuse them of lying because at that point I didn’t know for sure. Then we go to the room with a key. We look in that same window and nothing is different. It’s a one bedroom condo. All is clean, like before. Very very frustrating. If the 4:00 check in time is the rule - then tell me you can’t check in until 4:00. Fine. No problem. It’s the rule. But telling me multiple times that it is not cleaned and I see that it is cleaned and all of a sudden at 4:00 it’s clean is NOT okay. It took me several hours to calm down and start relaxing. I did not trust the staff which did not make me want to stay there. We will not return to this resort. The condo is in a nice location, by the boardwalk, has restaurants switch in walking distance and even a movie theater next door. The Condo itself was fine, not super up to date, but works fine for a short stay.

Mother’s Day weekend stay

Overall, my experience was good. The room was clean, which I appreciated, but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The TVs didn’t work, which was a letdown. While the place was tidy, it could definitely use some upgrades to improve comfort and functionality.
