Wonderful view

The condo had an AMAZING view from the 22nd floor. The condo was comfortable and clean. There was many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Daytona does have an “run down” feel and is missing the small coastal town feel. The only resort criticism is that the pool was very crowded and in order to get any seating, we needed to arrive by 7:15 to reserve our seats.

Nice resort...This is our 5th time to resort. This particular unit needs a few things to make it up to par with other units in building.

A fantastic vacation!

The property was very nice and a great getaway. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. We look forward to booking again in the future. The view was amazing and the unit itself is nicely decorated, very roomy, and well situated next to the boardwalk with lots to do. We had a fantastic visit! Thanks again for a lovely time!

Relaxing and Enjoyable

My husband and I took a short getaway to Daytona Beach and stayed at the Ocean Walk. This unit is on the 22nd floor and we have wonderful views of the ocean and the coastline. The property was well situated in Daytona for activities and restaurants. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a very nice stay and would come back there again.

Perfect Location!

This is the perfect location. Felt very happy with the fact they seemed very cautious and on top of all the new COVID standards. They were cleaning every time we entered the lobby.

Great stay

We were down for a few days before we headed to Hollywood. Daytona is somewhere we stay every year. We had never stayed in that resort before but will definitely be staying again. The king bed was a little hard for my liking but other than that it was awesome. In walkimg distance to a lot of things as well. There were a few cold nights and we could not get the heat to come on at all but we just threw sweats on and a blanket.

Beautiful unit right on the beach. We enjoyed everything about it.

My husband and 2 teenagers spent 4 relaxing days at the beach in this unit. It is as pictured and much more. There was plenty of room and the 2 bathrooms really came in handy! We could not have asked for anything better. The property manager was readily available if needed and was very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Great location and amenities for the family. Check in was at 4 but the slide and lazy River closed at 5 which wasn’t advertised. Microwave didn’t work and the 2nd bedroom did not have any curtains so people were awake while the rest of the unit was dark and sleeping.

Ocean Walk!

We had a great time. When we checked in, we weren’t given access cards to enter the hotel from the shoppes. When we asked to get them, the front told us they had no record of us in a room, although we were already checked in and had no problem doing so.

Fun Time

This wasn’t our first visit to Ocean Walk, however it was our first time in this unit. We had a wonderful time but felt quite a few amenities were missing. Basics like baggies, foil etc… While the unit was clean, it definitely needs some TLC. Painting the walls would really spruce the place up. Just a suggestion.

The pans in the kitchen were in poor shape - non-stick pans were scratched. Not much in the way of kitchen appliances and the toaster burned our toast even at the lightest setting. No cleaning products (e.g. 409 or similar cleaner) were available in the unit, either.

Nice location, nice condos

The condo this property is at is very nice, well staffed with friendly staff, well kept, good security, and full of amenities. The room itself could use a couple of improvements. The beds in the double bedroom should both be replaced. One is being propped up on the corner underneath by boxes of tiles and is crooked. The other is so flimsy and springy you could fold it up like a taco. There is also no curtain on the window and the blinds are broken. The window faces the hall and is directly in front of the hall light. The blinds do not close properly so I could see out to people walking by and certainly would think others could see in. We ended up hanging a blanket up over that window. It would be nice if there was a towel bar by the shower or a hand towel bar by the sink. The bathrooms are nice and spacious. It would also be nice to have basics like coffee and salt and pepper in the kitchen I have never stayed at a condo that didnt always have these 2 things at least. There was coffee to buy in the cafe in the lobby. There was plenty of cookware and utensils. The water heater makes an awful rattling noise. I slept with a white noise app to drown it out. The couch was comfy, we didnt use the pull out. Was glad to have TV in the rooms. We enjoyed the stay. It was walking distance to anything you needed and good restaurants and bars. We enjoyed Joe's crab shack for a casual dinner, Ocean Deck for a live band beach bar, and Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse for a more upscale and delicious steak dinner. (We went on a Sunday where they had early bird specials all day. We did make a reservation earlier that day). There is a nice eatery at the condo and a very enjoyable pool bar with friendly service.

Not what I expected

I have stayed at several Wyndham Resorts. I had wanted to stay at this one for sometime due to location. We normally stay in Ormond Beach. While the room was as described, they are getting outdated. The housekeeping could have been much better. Found dryer sheets and other things in the floor, dishes in dishwasher (clean or dirty?) etc. Nothing show stoppable but what we paid plus a cleaning fee I expected better. Also, you had to get up early to find a chair at the pool. It was springbreak and I think the resort was full but people would line up until the pool open snd save several chairs even though signs said no reserving. Security knew this because they were there waiting until it was time. When they opened the tape, people would run to get seats. Never seen this before. All in all we enjoyed our stay but next time I believe I will go back to Ormond beach.

Great weekend getaway!
