Charming 2,300 sq ft single family home on two levels that sleeps 8, conveniently located in the heart of Silicon Valley and immersed in the greenery of its lush garden with pool. The home has a unique whimsical, welcoming atmosphere. Feel at home while experiencing a resort-like life style!
The four bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on second floor. Living space (Kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway) are located on ground floor.
In master bedroom there is a comfortable king size bed, a desk and a fireplace (not wood burning-it works only with candles). The bathroom, remodeled and faux-finished, has a large glass shower stall and lots of cabinets. Walk-in closet is spacious and organized. Two other rooms are equipped with comfortable queen size beds, desks, shelves. Second bathroom, also remodeled and faux-finished, has bathtub shower and cabinetry. The fourth room has large windows overlooking front yard, extra-large desk L-shaped space (accommodating 3) and can be also used as office or family room. This room has 2 twin beds.
Upon request, a 5th bedroom (also located upstairs) can be made available for an extra fee, in case guests like to spread out beyond the 4 regular bedrooms.
The great kitchen has granite counter tops, Viking range with gas oven, island, two sinks and a second (electric) oven. Eating area with picnic table for 8 right outside the kitchen in landscaped backyard. There is also a round table for 4 outside in backyard. There are fruit trees, aromatic herbs and at times seasonal vegetables growing in the 3 raised beds.
Dining room accommodates 8 people. Living Room has a TV and a wood burning fireplace. High-speed wireless internet.
There are several lounge chairs around the sparkly swimming pool, a hammock, several sitting areas, a lawn, a deck in a secluded corner of the backyard.

Please note: The nightly rate displayed on website is based on a 4-guests or less occupancy. There is a guest fee of $35/night for each guest after 4 (the house can host max 8 guests). If requested (and available), the 5th bedroom's extra fee is charged separately.
Please note: if you plan to host an event or have daytime visitors please let host know before booking. Host will let you know if hosting such event is possible. Events/parties/gatherings are not allowed unless otherwise specifically authorized by host. If agreed, conditions and hosting fees apply. For security and safety reasons, access to house/backyard/pool is reserved only to registered, paying guests.
This is a residential neighborhood and quiet times start at 10:30pm. In order not to crowd neighbors, extra cars (beyond the 2 in driveway) are to be parked on Portland Ave (not on Sunrise court).
VRBO policy In case of violation of house rules (unauthorized events/parties and/or unregistered daytime visitors or overnight guests, violation of quiet times/smoking/excessive alcohol use): booking will be terminated and penalties applied.

Guests have access to the whole house (as detailed above: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, backyard, pool area, front yard), except for 1 locked room (the 5th), the garage and fenced off/gated side yard (on right side of the house) with private unit which is reserved for Host's belongings and use.
Property doesn't have AC, portable fans are provided. Heating fee in winter months is applied (as per description).
Guests are welcome to use the unheated pool and spa (upon signing a guest's pool use waiver and the house and pool rules) and the amenities mentioned in the listing. Guests don't have access to amenities not specifically mentioned in description (if in doubt, please ask).
Note about Pool/spa: Pool doesn't have a fence around. Pool/spa is unheated. Pool/spa heating upon request and cost is not included in rent. Gas/electricity cost for pool/spa heating is charged separately. If Pool/spa heating is requested, a deposit is requested upon arrival.
Operation of the pool system is manual (host will supply instructions) and guests are not to operate system without permission. Guests accept responsibility if any damage is caused by pool use and/or incorrect pool system operation.
