Quiet, private room with own bathroom, kitchenette and outdoor sitting areas. Luxurious king-size bed and cozy indoor sitting area. A large cutflower garden surrounded by trees, with adjacent municipal park trail system in Pacific Northwest rainforest. Minutes away from Victoria airport, Swartz Bay ferries and Washington ferries, and Sidney. 20 km to Butchart Gardens, 30 km to Victoria. Well-stocked kitchenette. Close proximity to beaches, bike path network, and many great restaurants. Cell reception is generally one-bar. Deer often wander up to the house.
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. Bernadette is a former market gardener and flower farmer, and Ben is a retired teacher. We enjoy travelling, gardening, making music, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Why they chose this property
Situated in a semi-rural area surrounded by mature trees, this property is quiet and private. There are nearby hiking trails through the forest, and beaches nearby, yet we're still close enough to the lovely small town of Sidney-by-the-Sea. We have a large cuflower and vegetable garden.
