Thanks Elyssa, we really appreciated your special care to our home while your family stayed. Everything was tidy and I could hardly tell there was a pet. I also appreciate you relaying back what our Gardner said about the new grass in the back yard. It’s growing beautifully still. Thank you again and good luck in your travels.
When you walk in the door the home is so bright, airy and inviting! All the furnishings were clean and comfortable…so great everyone could fit on the massive living room sofa and not have to drag in other chairs.
The pool/jacuzzi area was the perfect relaxing spot after a day of wine tasting. Araceli is a gracious host and kind enough to give us a long list of great wineries (property is literally at the starting line) and amenities in the area. Who wants to cook on vacation when you have cafés, restaurants and coffee shops a block away? If you do, the market is there too. My friends and I will definitely return

Thanks Maria, I’m so happy you enjoyed our house. We love the location too and you were the first one to enjoy our new Pebble Tech on our pool. You and your friends were perfect guest. Oh and the wine I left you, is from Europa Village. One of our Favorites too. You might even be able to walk there from the house it’s one of the closest wineries closest to us. Looking forward to seeing you next year.
Best, Araceli
First let me start off by saying that I now know where I will be returning to on an annual basis. This home was amazing! It was bright, cheery, warm and welcoming from the minute I walked in. Everything was clean and comfy to use. It was definitely an upgrade from my work space at home.
The Host (Araceli) was a pleasure to work with. She made sure the property met my expectations (it actually exceeded my expectations). Her recommendations for which wineries, restaurants and places to visit helped make my stay in Temecula a memorable one.
My friends and I enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi area and spent quite a few nights out there relaxing and enjoying the view after a day of wine tasting. The property is close to everything you would like to see/do in the Temecula area.
It is a pleasant work space for those of us who need to work from home and the wi-fi was exceptional. Would highly recommend this property to all. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, great location and well maintained. Can't wait to come again next year!

Cute in the process remodel home
House fit our needs, only down fall is hot tub & pool weren't running when arrived, apparently must let owner know before arrival, witch wasnt on vrbo app. Didnt get to use until last night took 3 days to heat, so make sure you let owner know you want to use it and have heated days before arrival.Wrong address posted on vrbo, and garage was a mess with remodel debris. over all house inside was cute in process of finishing remodel of little things. Owner was nice and in contact of things but didnt really know how to operate things herself. But stayed in contact to help try. Had pool guy call me, he didnt want to come out so he walked me thru pool system to get it running right. Overall gonna be cute place when all done, great location, nice owner, only big thing is renting place with pool & hot tub and not being able to use it most of trip.
Dirty, disgusting, brokern and disappointing, but otherwise fun
Host does not maintain the property or respond quickly to needed repairs. Upon arrival, the front door had a crack running through it, master bedroom had no sheets/bedding on it, dishes in the sink and laundry in the washing machine. None of the 4 outside trash bins had been put out for weeks, inside trash cans had no liners, and upstairs master had trash left behind. The downstairs bathroom, where I stayed due to mobility issues, had no light so I had to use a flashlight for a week to use the bathroom, shower, etc. When it was repaired it was done according to her convenience, not mine, so I had to change plans and be at home OR she would give the house code to this person I did not know allowing them access to the house and my belongs for the entire length of my stay. The downstairs "bedroom" is simply a room with a bed, no closet, host did have a dresser delivered a week into my stay, but I had to be home for 4 hours for delivery. Host did not leave the garage door opener upon check in, so I waited a week for her to fed ex it to me, then it did not work. Her handyman as able to fiddle with it and get it to work, for a while. The dishes are dirty, I found a bowl with ring of mold and a frying pan in a cupboard was so dirty it stuck to the shelf! All the furniture is worn and stained, same for the rungs. There is NO heavenly bedding, that's just funny. The front door key pad is missing a number, then it stopped working completely. I contacted her because I could not get into the house and she did not understand, she told me to ask my son the code, despite me telling her I know the code and that was not the issue. I had to spend $150. on a locksmith and $40 on a new garage door opener. The oven stopped working and when I contacted her I was told it would be repaired AFTER my stay, just use the microwave and cooktop!! There was an issue with the spa after the pool guy came, and she had him show up to the house without warning! I spoke with him, he apologized and said he must have hit a valve by accident, her response was that I needed to watch the video again. She inferred every issue was my fault, when I finally complained about her response, she cancelled the 2nd month of my stay, which is when I was to receive my "discount with 30 day stay" she advertised. She had a variety of excuses, but refused to negotiate so off to small claims court I go. I let VRBO know and the hosts response was basically, get out or I will call the police. I have pics.

Stayed 30 nights in May 2022
Response from VrboOwner on 31 August 2023
I’m very Sorry Clare was so disappointed with the home that she was still insisting to rent from me for more months. It’s very confusing. Unfortunately, I was upfront with her about the possibility of the house not being available to rent longer due to some pool construction that we were currently scheduling. Clare and I had an agreement thru VRBO for ONLY, 30 days. She moved in on May 9th and on May 16th, I informed her we would be not renting past the 30 days. Her initial reservations clearly conflicted with my construction timeline. I, had already blocked off on my calendar. Still, I did delay construction to accommodate the 30 night stay for her. When I first spoke to Clare, I felt bad for her & her situation. She explained how she had a very bad experience with another home. I truly wanted her experience here to be fun, joyful and light. Therefore, I did try to meet ALL her request, I even purchased a new light fixture & a dresser, special for her stay in the fourth bedroom downstairs. The bedroom did not have a dresser, it has shelves for guest to put their clothing & items. The closet that can be dedicated to the 4th bedroom, is just a couple steps away, in the hall. I also allowed Clare and her adult son Daniel to move in days & hours earlier, at 11am instead of 4pm. Clare and her Daniel checked in before I arrived. I explained I had new cleaners, & needed to inspect the house after the cleaners were finished. I am a very conscientious host, I have over 12 years experience in this business. I always do a walk thru prior to my guest checking in. Most times, I arrive before my guest, I allowed Clare to move in first due to her desperation to get out of her previous house. My guest are always welcoming to me when I meet them in my home and vice versa, even after they have checked in. Whether I’m there to inspect the cleaners work &/or to meet/great the new guest to see that everything was in place & clean. I usually never have a problem. When I arrived, Daniel was the only one there & was very anxious for me to leave. I told him the cleaners were on their way back to get the comforter out of the dryer and I was bringing the bedding for the ONE, king size bed that was not made. He informed me he did not need them to come back and wanted me to leave after I changed the code on the door. He said, he was not gonna let anyone else in the house. I did not get a chance to show him how to use the pool pump and spa. He said, the videos Of my pool guys instructions would be fine. I also needed to install a light bulb in the bathroom downstairs. He said, he would do it, and would take care of everything else if something needed to be done. The outside trash cans only get picked up once a week. Therefore, they are gonna be full if you happen to check in just before trash day. There was a hairline crack on the bottom of the door, I told Clare we would be ordering a new door, in the meantime, I would patch it. But, the new door would not arrive until after her 30 day stay. I will say, I do regret not doing my walk thru but, out of respect for her son’s privacy and, he was so very anxious for me to leave. I left immediately after the locks were done. I was worried that I was intruding in on his space and did forget to give him the garage door opener. I did Fed Ex it to her after we both realized I still had it. A couple days later she insisted the light bulbs for the downstairs bathroom were not fitting in the fixture. She said she broke the new light bulbs. At that point, I called my Licensed electrician who has my front door code, to come and just replace the entire fixture. Clare’s schedule had to coordinate with his, she refused to have anyone there without her. I know the new fixture was installed in a timely manner in spite of. Another day goes by, Clare locks herself out of the house. She puts the deadbolt on the front door and goes out the garage. She blamed her being locked out on the code, she said that the code was not working. I did tell her the code has not changed. She said her son had access thru the garage. I asked her to have her or son call me back before I send anyone over to unlock the door. I never heard back from her. I believe, they must have also lost the remote control as well as dead-bolting the front door. I don’t think she wanted to admit that. I still do not have the remote control for the garage and will have to replace that. Another time, Clare calls that the pool is losing water and she doesn’t know why. I immediately send my pool guy, he informed me Clare, forgot to turn the pump back on after using the spa and does not really have a concept of how to use the controls. I called her and just suggested to review the pool video as often as she can, & that I or pool guy would also show her in person if she needed us to. Lastly, just a few days before she is about to move out and she tells me she’s been without electricity for 10 days and that because of that, the oven does not work. I did check with Edison, my Exterior Ring cameras, all were working just fine daily. Edison confirmed the electricity was on every day that month. All the appliances are new, 2 years old, I said I would personally inspect the oven & look for my warranty to coordinate a technician if needed. In the meantime she said she was still able to use the stove top and microwave. Sadly, It is so unfortunate, that I was unable give her a worry free fun stay. Yet, she said it was fun and wanted to stay longer. So I am confused. I did learn, I need to do my walk thru regardless of the urgency for someone else to move into the home. There is always room for improvement. This was a learning experience for me even after 12 years hosting.
We have stayed at many rentals all over the world & this property was by far one of the best we have stayed at! We really enjoyed how close Starbucks and Barons Market was to the property. The home being so close to the local vineyards was also a big plus. The home was spotless and very nicely decorated. The outdoor area and nice size pool was great!. The property manger was always available for questions whenever we needed. Had a great stay will definitely be back again! If you are coming to this area I would highly recommend staying this home.

We are a partnership of 3 Flight Attendants that decided to purchase this home as an investment &, for our family vacations. After almost 7 years of owning the property, we have decided to possibly sell the property. It has been on and off the market twice in the last year. If you choose to book during the time we do have it listed we are happy to work with your booking to either agree to not show the house or to have one showing per month if agreeable. Either way, we are happy to work with renters to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are not in a hurry to sell, we will do our best to honor the rental agreement. Thank you.
Why they chose this property
It was near Family and just one street light to the wineries what more can you ask for
What makes this property unique
This house is close to wineries, can be rented for one month or mid term. We also are exploring options to sell if you are looking for a home in the area.
