We offer 4 unique properties under our WeilHouse Living brand. We are part of the Slow Stay movement, catering to the more conscious traveller.

We have three farm stays on our beautiful 8 acre organic Farm in Bellingen in NSW and we have a beautiful eco-friendly off the grid wilderness hut in Hernani, in the New England tablelands 1 hour from Bellingen. Each property has been lovingly built and restored to tread lightly on the planet and to maximise the beautiful surrounds. The Bellingen Farm House, The Bellingen Vintage Farmstay, The Bellingen Farm Shed and Hernani Wilderness Hut cater to a wide range of tastes and budgets. The Space
Branded under the umbrella of WeilHouse Living, this is one of our 4 unique properties offering you a chance to experience beauty, nature and simplicity. Each property has been lovingly built and styled to tread lightly on the planet and take advantage of the surrounding beauty. Each home caters to a wide range of tastes and budgets.

Our beautiful farmstay is set on an 8 acre biodynamic permaculture working farm just 5 minutes drive from Bellingen town and our beautiful Bellinger River. Our vintage and recycled style offers you an eco-friendly and relaxing escape. We hope you enjoy all that our farm has to offer, fresh organic produce and eggs, and our farm animals. We have been hosting guests for over 10 years and have been featured in several interior magazines.

House Layout
The farmstay has an open plan living and kitchen space with vaulted ceilings to allow for air and light. It has two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen sized bed and there are two single beds in the second bedroom.The bathroom has a bathtub and shower and laundry facilities.

We can sleep an extra 2 guests if their happy to sleep on the floor on a single mattresses we provide all bedding for this.

Outdoor Bath
We now offer an outdoor bath for you to enjoy under the stars. It's totally private and overlooks our orchard and paddock.

Children
Our home caters for children; we have plenty of children's books, toys and board games for them to use. We also have a trampoline, treehouse and swings for your children to access whenever they like. If you have an infant we also supply a kinder cot and a high chair for your convenience. We ask that you bring your own bedding for this.

Guest Access
You have your own private house on the farm with flat access. You have a fully fenced backyard where your dogs and children can play safely. You are welcome to enjoy our whole farm and explore the property.

Interaction with Guests
We run a busy farm but we always pop down and say hello (not always as soon as you arrive) and goodbye if we can. Then we leave you to your holiday. We are happy for you to walk up and visit us if we're home and for your children to play with ours. We want you to make yourselves at home and enjoy our whole farm.

Environmentally Friendly
Our house uses rain tank water and we recycle the grey water, so please only use biodegradable soaps and washing powers. We supply guests with complementry laundry wash balls and soap.

Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds, we understand that sometimes you may have to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond your control, or that floods may prevent you from reaching the house. If this should happen we are happy for you to rebook your stay with us at a date that suits you and one that is free for us. If you do want to cancel and are able to give us enough notice, often we can find someone to take your booking and can then refund you your deposit.

Pets
We apologise, but we no longer allow pets at this property, except service dogs.

Our Farm Animals
We have two dogs, three horses, two sheep, two miniature Pygmy goats, two hives of native stingless bees and our beautiful heritage chickens and ducks free ranging on the farm. Our cows are enjoying greener pastures on our neighbours farm.

Our Farm Fresh Veggies & Eggs
We grow beautiful biodynamic seasonal fruit and veggies and eggs, if you would like a mixed box of veggies and eggs (aprox $50-$80) depending on the size of your group and the length of your stay, please let us know when you book in and we will have it waiting for you when you arrive, this can be paid for in cash when you arrive.

Extra Guests Overnight
You may not have friends stay over night without incurring an extra charge. Please notify us if you would like to have guests stay over with you so we can adjust the price accordingly. Extra guests are $25 per night, if you fail to inform us we will simply deduct the extra cost from your bond.

COVID TRAVEL POLICY
Given the current state of Covid and to ensure the health and safety of all our guests visiting our farm for their holiday we now require the following: Guests must either provide their negative PCR test or their RAT test (rapid antigen test) prior to arrival. Should guests tests positive they will be unable to attend their holiday and will forfeit their booking. We are unable to provide refunds or travel credits for guests that are unable to attend as a result of having Covid. We highly suggest that guests take out travel insurance to cover any accidental loss of funds as a result of Covid. Thank you for your understanding.

COVID CANCELLATIONS
Government Policy
If your trip is cancelled due to government policy restricting travel, or a lockdown as a result of Covid 19, we will offer you a travel credit of equal value to be used within 6 months of your original booking date. There are no extensions for this time period, so we suggest you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Should you reduce the number of guests from your original booking we will not offer any refunds.

COVID POSITIVE
If you test positive to Covid prior to your arrival, you will not be able to have your holiday. We will not be offering refunds or travel credits as we will be unable to fill your booking. Should you arrive at our farm and test positive for Covid during your stay, we will either ask you to leave and complete your isolation at home or for longer bookings you're welcome to have your holiday here as long as we can rest the house for 72 hrs before the next guest arrives, in which case you may have to reduce the length of your holiday to accomodate that rest period.
