This modern spacious 4 bedroom apartment offers that plus, a large north-east facing balcony for you to relax on for a bbq or to simply just take in the views of Fingal Bay.

The apartment is on the top floor of a small complex of 6 and accessible via a lift.

It has four bedrooms sleeping up to 8 guests:
- Main has a Queen bed and an ensuite with a spa bath
- 2nd & 3rd bedrooms with Double beds
- 4th bedroom with a King Single and Single bed

The Fine Fingal Apartment

The property was spacious with a large kitchen and balcony area great for bbqs and large groups to sit and eat together. The location was perfect with a short stroll to the beach and conveniently located above cafes, a grocery store and a service station. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect family getaway

The location was great. Spectacular views and short stroll to the beach. The convenience of being able to duck downstairs to the little shops worked well for all the extended family. Kids got ice blocks parents got alcohol, fish and chips everyone was happy. The layout of the accommodation worked well for us and the huge verandah was a hit with all. Will definitely come again

Great location

Perfect for our family of 5 and close to the beach and grocery store! We loved our stay here. Lots of space and lovely view. Pool deck was also great for the kids. Only area of improvement could be more in the way of basic household goods like more dishwasher liquid, foil, laundry powder, basic kitchen items like oil, pepper. In all other ways, a great stay!

Fantastic Apartment

Had a wonderful stay during January. Apartment slept 4 adults and 3 kids comfortably. Great location near the beach with the added bonus of the pool and cabana area where the kids enjoyed riding their bikes and scooters while we enjoyed an afternoon drink.

Great holiday property.

Very good property, very spacious with good facilities. For older people the bed in the main bedroom was a bit low. Nothing to complain about. We had a very good time. The property is very well located with great views. Thank you. We are hoping to return.

Gorgeous view from perfect apartment

Our family stayed in the property a second time after loving our previous stay. The apartment is spacious and modern with a view over Fingal Bay and only a 2 minute walk from the beach. The beach itself is perfect for families. With coffee, a convenience store and cafes downstairs and additional options a short, pleasant walk away further down the beach.

Kind, Accommodating Host in perfect location

For those needing accommodation in the area for weddings/events at Saltwater Fingal Bay - this location and host was perfect! Our daughter got ready for her wedding day from this apartment which had everything we needed, both at the location and in the nearby surrounds, for a stress free stay/ wedding preparation. Chris was a kind host who was willing to help us out with extra requests and questions when needed. Can’t thank enough!

Beautiful ocean view in perfect location

This was our 3rd summer in a row in this apartment and our family love staying here. The view of Fingal Bay from the spacious lcony is amazing. The apartment itself is modern, comfortable and very well equipped and perfectly located above cafes and a convenience store below. The pool is major drawcard as well. Fingal Bay is beautiful, calm and sleepy beachside but a very short drive (or bike ride) to Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay. We love this property and area - it has everything a family could want for a fun and relaxing summer holiday.

Great Location

Great size apartment in a great location. We had some minor issues with linen when arriving but Chris was great to deal with once we got in contact. The only down side for us was the cleanliness of the property, the floors inside and out were quite dirty, tables and benches were very dusty, and dishes had been put away with food on them. If the cleaners could improve on this the apartment would be perfect.

Good: Amazing view (arguably better than the photos), huge balcony, living & kitchen. The general store below is handy. The pool area is nice and the complex is clean. Not good: Mostly fixtures/fittings issues. The internal exhaust fans in both bathrooms don't work (flooding the apartment with steam). The spa doesn't work. The BBQ half works (hot plate not grill). There are no ceiling fans (they do provide pedestal fans). The gas soft-close strut on everyone's front door (including this apartment) has gone. Overall though this is a good value stay.

Why no Wifi?

The property is very good in terms of location. Its right above the shops and only a block from the beach with great water views. My main issues were: 1. A number of lights and the extractor fan/lights didn't work. 2. We needed to buy rinse aid so the dishwasher would work. This is something that should be taken care of with maintenance. 3. There was no wifi in the property. In this day, no wifi is almost like having no water. We had travelled from overseas, so a small additional cost would have added a normal day-to-day convenience.

Very disappointing

We experienced the following issues during our stay at this apartment; We were only provided with one remote to open the garage which was inconvenient as we were given two car spaces to use which we needed as we have two cars. We were told that the second remote was broken. The wifi did not work at all, we were told that a technician could be sent out to take a look but we would have to stay in to wait for him, as we were on our holiday we chose not to do this. The pool was not operational for most of our stay as the gate wasn’t working. The apartment is located above shops and was very noisy. There was a generator attached to the cafe below the the entire week which was very loud. This started at 6am each day. Would have been nice to know this before we arrived, same goes for the pool. The apartment was quite dirty when we arrived. The owner sent his cleaners out to do another clean but the balcony was full of sand and the glass was very dirty still. Same goes for the kitchen and bins. The whole apartment needs a good spring clean. We needed to provide all our sheets, towels, tea towels and dish clothes. There was one tiny cake of soap, one sachet of dishwashing liquid and one toilet roll provided. We needed to clean the bbq before we could use it. We needed to go into Nelson bay to collect our keys when we arrived. As it was a Sunday we were charged a fee for this service. A coded key box would be much more convenient. We have never provided a negative review before but feel it important to let other holiday makers know of our experience.
