About this property

Three bedroom house right across from the Balnarring Beach foreshore - just a short 100 metre walk along the creek reserve on you are on the sand. This comfortable three bedroom house allows you to enjoy all the beach and wine/gourmet food region has to offer - in 1960’s style worthy of any Mad Men episode.

With three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and the third with one bunk and a single bed, the house can sleep up to 7 people.

The house has a generously sized outdoor alresco area with outdoor lounge setting and teak table setting, large backyard which is fully fenced so safe for kids and dogs, as well as a laundry with Asko washing machine. We also have a state of the art BBQ and wood fired pizza oven for the more gourmet inclined.

There are two bathrooms, one inside with a full bathroom outside, which is perfect for rinsing off after a swim at the beach. Both bathrooms are fully renovated and very comfortable.

The kitchen has also been renovated in late 2020 and comes complete with a wide range of cooking utensils, saucepans, pots, appliances and the like. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to bake, coook and enjoy.

Features include: Slow combustion heater, reverse cycle air conditioning and heating, microwave, stereo, flat screen LCD TV and DVD Player, washing machine and gas B.B.Q.

There are also plenty of toys for the kids, including a cubby house with slide, monkey bars and springfree trampoline.

Tenants are required to supply their own linen (flat sheets, sheets, towels and pillow cases). Don't forget to bring a couple of tea towels as well. Please also be aware that we are trialling wifi but it can be a bit intermittment. There is reasonable Telstra reception.

We have one week minimum bookings during the summer holiday season, 3 nights for long weekends and a 2 night minimum for the rest of the year. Email me if you aren't sure.

If we don't have a same day booking when you exit, we are happy for you to check out late. Just email us closer to the date of your arrival and we can confirm.

Peaceful and private so close to beach

Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night stay at this extremely well appointed beach shack. Stayed on my own as I needed some me time then had a small family group with dog for Sunday lunch - perfect! Weather was cold but still enjoyed the coziness inside with a wood fire burning at night - excellent outdoor area for kids dogs and big kids !

Wonderful spot

We had a fantastic time at Balnarring Beach! The house is so close to the beach and is kid and dog friendly making it the perfect spot for a family holiday. We will definitely be back!

Property was in a fantastic location, 50 metres from the beach, Great setup for dogs and humans alike. Generous pantry supplies available. Felt at home. Will be back again.

We are a family of 4 who love to travel and explore all that life has to offer. We absolutely love our beach house and can often be found sneaking in some time in between rentals.

We live in the inner city of Melbourne so love getting away to Balnarring Beach to enjoy the peace and quite, the beach and the odd sneaky koala or kangaroo.

Why they chose this property

We simply adore our beach house with so much positive feedback about its 'essence' from our visitors. There is something intangile about the house - perhaps its the simplicity, the clean lines and the way in whcih the house retains a genuine beach character from another era without feeling gimmicky.

We have specifically set the house up to be perfect for famillies and dogs. There is nothing that you will need that isn't at the house. Books, dvds, toys, portacot, stroller, high chair, dog beg, water and food bowls and the like.
