On this street and nearby it here are the Catholic Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the Ivane Javakhishvili House Museum, the building of the former London Hotel, designed by architect Otto Simonson, the famous Dry Bridge, and the Russian Church. In walking distance Leselidze street (Kote Aphazi), where the Catholic is located next to the Armenian, Georgian churches, synagogue and mosque. There are many exchange offices, souvenir shops and kiosks with khachapuri. And then - the famous sulfur baths, Meydani Square (Meydan), from where it is easy to get to the Metekhi church. It offers a magnificent view of the Kura River (Mtkvari).
You can go to the Opera or Freedom Square, from where you go to Leselidze, to the baths.
Avenue of David the Builder (aka Agmashenebeli) is a street that captivates with its national character: all houses are decorated with balconies of an unusual shape and mysterious front rooms. There is also the so called Rose park.
The famous Dry Bridge, where Georgian masters of art are exhibited, where you can buy souvenirs and even antiques, goes to Vorontsov Square, now Zaar Bryuken. And here begins the pedestrian part of Agmashenebeli Avenue, where there are many cafes and restaurants where you can try the cuisine of different countries of the world.
But this is only a small part of what awaits the guests of Tbilisi!
