SMALL DOGS ONLY (up to 10kg) after notification and approval are welcome but MUST be fully supervised in unfenced areas, respecting our local natural wildlife. There is a secure fenced pool area for dogs if they need to be left unsupervised but please note they would have access to pool.

Direct flights to Coffs Harbour from Sydney and Melbourne then a 20 minute drive to Woolgoolga will have you relaxing at the Lakehouse in no time .
Lakehouse’s delightful peaceful, natural setting has enticed many guests to return over and over.

Relax on the sun kissed north facing covered lake deck whilst you enjoy this private oasis on the banks of pristine Sunset Lakes which is abundant in fish,mudcrabs, bird & marine life. Cook your catch if your lucky or your Woolies purchase on the bbq on the covered deck overlooking the lake.

Jabiru, swans, kangaroos, echidnas, eagles, kookaburras are just a few of the amazing wildlife that you may see from the lakeside deck.

Leave your car at Melaleuca Lakehouse as a very comfortable short flat stroll will take you to the beach, cafes, village, parks. A lovely scenic 10 minute walk over the lake will bring you to the beautiful safe and family friendly Woolgoolga main beach which is arguably the safest north coast beach with its pristine protected bay and patrolled shoreline. Snorkelling, fishing, surfing all to be enjoyed at this wonderful beach. Alongside the beach you will find many highly acclaimed restaurants, cafes, boutiques, bakers, butchers, supermarkets etc in Woolgoolga village.
Woolworths is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute stroll from the Lakehouse.
Popular Award winning Seaview Tavern is a 10 minute walk from Melaleuca Lakehouse. Woopi Diggers Club is also a short walk with a fantastic choice of delicious meals. Woopi Bowling Club another short walk offers a selection of Asian and various delicious meals .
Perfect for cycling also, ameasy flat ride into our village, so bring your Push bikes and kayaks, canoes for the lake.
