Neskowin Eyrie- Meredith Lodging

This elegant, contemporary home perches on a ridge in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the Pacific, giving you panoramic views across the Neskowin Marsh National Refuge to the sea. A short drive away and you have access to a mile-long marshland trail to the beach. From there you can walk the gently sloping sandy beach a half-mile to the village of Neskowin for views of Proposal Rock, a delicious meal at the Hawk Creek Café or groceries from Neskowin Trading Post. The home has a wonderful main-level gathering space, a gorgeous living room with a large stone hearth, wood fireplace and TV surrounded by buttery leather sofas, cozy chairs and cushioned window seats along the expansive windows. The planked ceilings, hardwood floors and oriental carpets provide a warm, comforting atmosphere alongside the stellar ocean views. Double doors take you out to a covered porch for the soothing sounds of surf and bird calls from the marsh below.

You can dine outside, use the gas barbecue or cozy up to the firepit on cool evenings. A granite breakfast bar will invite guests to talk with the cook in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. A main-level has a king primary bedroom. Downstairs, a spacious bonus room includes sofas, TV and its own gas fireplace, plus a dining area, sleeping spaces and its own deck, so you can easily invite another family to join you. You’ll enjoy proximity to coastal adventures in Lincoln City to the south and Pacific City and Tillamook to the north, and quieter pursuits are available right out the door. Charming Home with a View of the Ocean

Wonderful Family Place! This home is really charming with lots of space for gathering and relaxing. It is in a friendly and picturesque neighborhood close to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the future!

Spacious home for multigenerational family vacation

This home was perfect for our annual family vacation. The house was very clean with a well equipped kitchen and a beautiful view of the ocean. The playroom was very fun for our grandchildren. We loved the hike through the quaint neighborhood to the beach. It was a wonderful vacation, thank you.

My family and I stayed in this home for a few days. The coastline views from the upper deck were amazing! We had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us. We would love to return in the near future.

We had 8 women staying and we had plenty of room! View was awesome and a well equipped kitchen!! Would like to have had directions how to work TV etc and fireplace downstairs.

Wonderful vacation rental

Spectacular views to the ocean. We were fortunate and had near-perfect weather. The house is HUGE and has nice decks in the back to enjoy the view over the wildlife preserve and ocean. We especially enjoyed the fire table on the top deck in the evenings. Great sunsets. The kitchen is very well equipped -- one could cook just about anything there. The path to the beach was hard to figure out at first. I recommend the owner leave instructions -- you have to wind your way through the neighborhood (up and down hills) and then hike across the wetlands, and you end up in another beach-side neighborhood with rather limited access. But they were correct that it is nearly exactly 1 mile to and from -- a very vigorous walk. For those less inclined, it is a short drive to the Neskowin state park, where beach access is much closer. One minor issue is that the stereo system doesn't seem to work.

Quiet Location with Beautiful View

Plenty of room for guests with comfortable beds. Kitchen was fully equipped. A great place to stay during rainy days. We appreciated the covered deck with a gas fire pit, and there were games, reading, etc for inside. Had all the amenities for a large group. I only missed having dish rags rather than a small sponge for more efficient kitchen cleanup. Thank you for sharing your home!

Power outage

We had to find a place quick due to the ice storm and power outage in our city. Found Eyrie it was available so booked it and got out of town for heat, hot water and all around comfort. Eyrie was just the comfort we needed. Extremely well stocked if not a bit overstocked 😊 A bit more available closet space would be my only negative.

Beautiful house; maintenance needed

It’s a very nice property, but it needed some work. The cushions in chairs both indoors and out were dirty and the rugs were dirty- they had been vacuumed but they were pretty dingy. The faucet in the kitchen was very loose at base, the thermostat was unresponsive to any changes/ overrides we attempted, the jacuzzi tub in the master was broken with saying don’t use it. The the price of this place, I expected a better maintained property.

Our last minute hero!

We visit the Oregon Coast regularly and ran into a beach rental with a different rental company that we could only describe as “cape disappointment”. THANKFULLY, the Eyrie Neskowin was available to save our week at the beach. We were easily able to book on the app and move to over to this comfortable home base. Beautifully maintained, well furnished and comfortable beach home nestled up in the trees with panoramic ocean views! Really loved every night spent on the patio listening to all the birds and wildlife. Deers spotted right off the balcony. Well stocked kitchen. A few suggestions to make this home even better: better lighting in master (hard to see your clothes when getting dressed from the wardrobe) and/or make some room in the master closet for guests to hang some items (loved the jackets). Some beach chairs would have also been nice to take with us to beach but bought a few abs left them at the house for others to enjoy. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!
