New 3 bedroom 2 bath manufactured home with porch , swing and ATV trails, ride from the front door. JUST 36 MINUTES NORTH OF MOAB ON I-70. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Only 30 minutes from downtown Moab. All 10 of our rental house are rated 5 star with about 200 reviews. Our 2 and 3 bedroom units are about half the price of a motel room in Moab. Peace and quiet is not for everyone. About half of the population love air pollution and bumper to bumper traffic. We appeal to the other half of the population that goes on vacation to unwind. We're not close to Wal-mart or clubs and bars. All of our houses are fully equipped with kitchens, barbeque grills and propane , pots and pans etc. IF THIS UNIT IS RENTED, YOU CAN VIEW OUR OTHER UNITS BY EXPANDING THE VRBO MAP TO A 30 MILE RADIUS WE ARE NEAR I-70>>>>>> WE ARE 30 MINUTES NORTH OF MOAB>>>>>>>>

Quiet and Peaceful setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a quiet retreat after exploring the surrounding areas. We would definitely recommend this house if you are looking for a quiet and convenient location near Arches, Moab, and/or Canyonlands.

Great stay

The property is a 30 minute drive from Moab. It was clean, quiet and easy to find. Comfortable beds, lots of space for the 4 of us.

Razr vacation

We have been thrilled to find thompson springs. It is close enough to moab and very quiet. Everything is very clean and we are always able to reach the hosts.

Great place to spend the night or a week. They’re restoring an old town and we can’t wait. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We loved it and so did our pups. Very dog friendly. Great front porch with table. Swing and bbq pit

We were sorry that we only spent one night. Next trip we will plan on staying a couple of nights.

Our house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable with crisp clean sheets. Coffee pot with coffee and filters. Wifi worked great. Location is quiet. I will recommend Ballard’s to fellow travelers. Thank you for being so accommodating.

I really liked it.

It's just a huge house. The living room is themed after Western movies. And it was great! Moreover, excellent beds, a large table in the dining room and everything you need in the kitchen. Absolutely luxury washing and drying machines. I recommend it to everyone, you won’t regret it!!!

Great Views!

This was a trip for my father in laws 80th birthday. He is a huge John Wayne fan and wanted to come to Moab. The Movie House was perfect for us. Communication and directions on how to find the property was great. The house was cool and welcoming upon our arrival. We had plenty of room to relax in between our activities. It is quite a drive into Moab, but the views made it worthwhile.

Most comfy night sleep on our 13 day journey

The movie house was just what we needed. After a few nights on BLM land in our van, our stay there was great. Stars were unreal. Easy on / Easy off. Pulling in, wasn't sure what to expect but WOW. Place was very well set up with everything we needed. Would DEFF stay there again, especially so close to Moab, Arches and so much more. Thanks again. S&A

Great, except...

The property was nice, clean, easy to find. Unfortunately the trains were loud and came by about 5 times the first night (only once the second night), also there weren't too many entertaining things to do in the house (games, puzzles, etc.). There is a selection of movies at the office and if you like westerns you're in luck. There were only a couple that were okay for kids to watch so we didn't even bother. It was an easy place to stay if you wanted to go to Arches and the petroglyphs up the street were fun to go see.

Clean and Comfortable Waypoint!

First off...the place is very clean and nice. Not fancy, but enough room for the 5 of us to spread out and relax. We had everything we needed. We stopped here on our way to Arches from Bryce and didn't want to be stuck in a hotel in Moab. Driving time is more like 40 minutes to Moab. And there is a train that comes through frequently that we weren't expecting. But that's the only concerns I have. Clean and comfy is the most important thing. (Wifi was spotty, we didn't really use the TV and when we tried to stream something it went to a random tv.) Had fun exploring Sego and seeing the old cemetery and petroglyphs.

Excellent stay away from the crowds

This is our second time taking our kids to Moab and our second time staying in the movie house. We love being just half an hour from the park but far from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the short drive up to see the Native American rock drawings. There were paths to follow and plenty to explore in that area. It’s great for our family. There are train tracks quite close by. Our kids thought it was great fun to see a couple trains go by and they weren’t woken by the trains that came during the night. Having stayed at quiet a few vacation rentals over the years I’d say the kitchen is average. They have what you need for basic cooking, but nothing extravagant. We’ll try for this same place again next time we visit the area!

Power outage

The house was great, very clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Not too far from Moab. Easy to find. We had no communication with property manager.The only problem: when the power was out we needed to call the emergency phone to find out what was going on. Nobody answered that phone. Nobody that I talked to had any luck with that phone number either. Luckily we had lots of extra blankets in our little trailer. Otherwise we would have spent a very cold night. We found out later that the power was out for a large area (including Moab).

Comfortable stay outside of the hustle and bustle

Nice, spacious, clean property with plenty of space for our group to hang out and cook. It was in a very quiet place, about 30 minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of Moab. Check in/out was simple. There are no restaurants nearby so it was great that there was plenty of space for preparing food and cooking. The beds were a little firm for my taste but it was so great to have 3 bedrooms and use of a washer and dryer. All and all a great stay!

This was our first of two stays here. The place was easy to find and checkin after a long day of driving! Plenty of parking and space inside for all 5 of us! The water pressure in the shower was amazing!

Quiet and convenient

We stayed here 2 Fridays in a row. No complaints or issues other than we couldn’t get the house to cool enough the second night. Other than that it had plenty of space, was clean and comfortable. Easily accessible off the interstate.
