Located on the shores of beautiful Pittwater in Refuge Cove this boathouse includes all facilities, bathroom with shower, kitchenette with Microwave, fridge, Nespresso, BBQ etc.

Open plan accommodation includes one double. Dining table looking directly out over the crystal clear water, lounge, TV, CD. Access to private BBQ. sundeck and outdoor dining facilities. Air conditioned.

Direct access to waterfront. Swim in the bay or explore the foreshore of Refuge Cove, including the beautiful secluded beach opposite. Use of two single person kayaks available.

Arrive by road or water. Street parking available. However should you choose to arrive by boat there is deep water mooring facility available.

No disabled access due to stairs.
Children must be supervised at all times and be familiar with water safety.
Not suitable for pets.

Family run B&B style with continental breakfast facilities, coffee, tea provided. Cook your own steak on the BBQ and simply relax at the waters edge.

Short drive to Avalon village, cafes, shops, and the world class beaches of Avalon and Palm Beach.

What a lovely little hideaway so close to Sydney. We enjoyed exploring Clareville beaches and Avalon village. The boathouse has everything you need including a great choice of breakfast supplies. The kayaks were lots of fun. We hope to be back!

We LOVED our stay at the boathouse. 2 nights wasn't enough. We loved everything. We'll be back. It was so magical. Everything was just perfect. Feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. Can't wait to revisit - for longer!

Boathouse Bliss

The boathouse is the most peaceful escape. On the edge of Refuge Bay Pittwater, with yachts and boats bobbing outside the windows, surrounded by inspiring boating history within - inspires a resurgence to tackle everything that put you there! As John Mansfield states in his poem "Sea Fever": "I must go down to the sea again, for the call of the running tide.....and quiet sleep and a sweet dream..." His poem wraps it up beautifully.

We had a one night stay at Salacia Boathouse and it was truly a fabulous experience. Jenny & David were friendly and accommodating, but allowed us privacy to fully relax. The Boat House was extremely comfortable; bed and linens were luxurious, dining and lounge was cosy, kitchen was very well equipped and bathroom was very comfortable. Then there was the VIEW ! 360 degree Pittwatter view with gentle breeze through the louvres. Position made it peaceful with no traffic noises. I think Salacia Boat house is going to be a regular visit for us.

Perfect Birthday getaway celebration

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at this incredibly unique Boatshed on Pittwater. We brought our Jetski and moored it on the dock. We left all the windows open at night and listened to the water lapping the shore underneath us. The detail and care that went into decorating this accommodation in true nautical style was impressive. Equally impressive is that the owners were regular competitors in the Sydney to Hobart back in the day. You can really feel their love of the Ocean when you step into this room. I think we will be definitely coming back again one day.

This was our 2nd visit to Jenny's boathouse and it was just as lovely as the first a year ago! The location is perfect and offers amazing sunsets - stunning views... Jenny was accommodating with an early check-in and everything was ready for our arrival! thanks we hope to be back again next year.

Boathouse Beauty

We just loved our 2 night stay at Jenny’s cozy boathouse. Stunning location with pretty much everything you need for a couple days of R&R. Come prepared for BBQ alfresco dinners and cocktails on the dock to watch the sunset! The kayaks were wonderful to have to go out to explore. Thanks Jenny!

As close to the water as you could possibly get

Staying in the Boathouse was like living on a boat, the flapping of the water very relaxing, it was very comfortable and quirkily decorated in everything nautical. Jenny was very generous with her breakfast and other supplies. If your a couple and staying in and around the area, we would definitely recommend you stay at the Boathouse.

beautiful quiet corner of the bay. we were not made aware of the 130 odd steep steps. If we were older or had heart problems we wouldn't have made it to the property. This needs to be pointed out before payment.

Beautiful secluded boathouse location

This is a cosy boathouse apartment with everything you could need. Perfect for a romantic getaway or just some quiet time. There are kayaks to use and great views. Highly recommend.
