We had a wonderful family weekend here. The property is amazing and allows for so many different areas to hang out. While the home is older, it was very charming and was roomy for the 11 of us. The kids had a blast in the creek while I enjoyed the peace of the creek sounds on the balcony as well as on the property. Very private. We enjoyed our time there a lot.

Do NOT pass on this house if you’re looking to stay in Elijay. The property is absolutely stunning! The creek was right under you. The pictures do not do this place justice. The views from the huge living room is spectacular! You have balcony porches that overlook the creek on both sides of the living room. There was more than enough space to spread out for our family of 9. I can’t shout enough good praises about this place. The host was brilliant as well.

I can’t find the words to describe how amazing this house and property are! We had three families—13 people total—and never once felt crowded or on top of each other. The house is incredibly charming, beautifully styled, and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. It was truly perfect.The property itself is pure magic. We had six kids ranging from ages 6 to 16, and they all had a blast tubing in the creek and catching crawdads, while the men enjoyed some great fishing. We were having so much fun at the house that it was actually hard to leave and check out the local attractions! The location is ideal—completely private, yet close to everything.Brittany was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend this home again and again!

Great location for a family getaway

Everything was wonderful ! The home was warm and exactly as described. The host was easy to reach and accommodating. Our party of 11 couldnt have asked for a better Christmas retreat, from the 2 year old to the 85 year old , a good time was had by all !!!!!!!

Love staying here. We have stayed several years in a row. Kids always have fun playing in the water, hiking, Hot tub, pool table. Family enjoys it also. Very relaxing and quiet, other than my grandchildren.

Peace Away From Home

My family and I stayed here for New Years and had an amazing time. The house is perfect and has lots of privacy for different families staying together. The property is beautiful and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the fresh mountain air. We can’t wait to come back!

Best Stay in Ellijay!!!!

This little retreat in Ellijay, Georgia was the best we have stayed in. The layout of the house, the comfort of the beds, the location to the trout streams, and the fun that you can have on the creek. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and our time together. Thank you to our wonderful host and we hope to be back next year.

Absolutely Lovely!

A perfect gem that has lovely scenery, great large layout and very clean. Lots of wineries nearby. The views from the back deck-porch could not be more calming. Sitting by the water was divine. Will be back for sure.

One of a kind !

One of the best properties ever! So unique and beautiful. The river was amazing, views from everywhere, secluded and private. Hearing the rushing water was the perfect soundtrack to our stay.
