The property is located at the end of a long private road with the house at the center of a 5-acre hobby farm. Goats, hens, a Donkey & Pony roam the pastures. Your first dozen fresh eggs are free. Private and clean 3-bedroom house with comfy beds. 6 Hole Mini Golf and Regulation Horseshoes in the backyard! Try Frisby Golf and Bucket Glow Golf in the upper field. New in 2024, Pickleball court and net. A 4-person Hot Tub and Barrell Sauna just out the back door. Covered outdoor grilling on the large BBQ. There is a glass-top outdoor eating table under a large covered patio and lots of fairy lights at night. All this is conveniently close to the I 5 and I 205 junctions. Please let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion on this trip! The house sleeps up to 8 adults with an extra guest fee after 6 people. New 2024 RV available for an extra guest fee. Registered guests are allowed to bring your K9 family members with a pet fee at booking.

**Extra space sleeps 2 in our new 2023 Grand Design RV on full hook-ups, private parking, its own fenced area, and new 2-person hot tub. Additional rates apply for this space.

Cute comfy stay for families

We stayed here as our “home base” for a whirlwind visit to friends and family in Portland and Washington. We weren’t there much, which we regret because there are so many things to do (bunnies! Games! Hot tubs!) on the property. Jimmy and Jimmiesue live on the property, which is nice if you have questions/needs. If you’re bringing pets or planning on having a get together, make sure you reach out to them before booking to get the details of their policies since some could feel the policies are restrictive compared to other places. We’d definitely come back but would plan more downtime at the property to take advantage of the little oasis they’ve created.

Piece of Heaven on Earth!! Amazing!!!

This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed at!! Jim and Jimmiesue are two amazing people - and feel like instant family!!! They have taken their home, and opened it up to share with renters!! It is amazing. I loved watching both of them work around the farm and take such pride in their slice of heaven!!.This house is immaculately decorated and the grounds are just as beautiful!! The Hot Tub is a perfect size for 4 people, and I used it each evening and even woke up early the last morning just to relax in it as the sun came up and listen to the Roosters crow!! ( It wont keep you up in the morning cause the windows all face the opposite direction).I will return here for years to come!!! Ive already booked a few nights again this summer with Jim and Jimmisue!!I absolutely guarantee NO ONE will be dissapointed here!! Support this wondeful couple in their golden years!!! Enjoy!!!Ian E

Sweet and serene retreat

We really enjoyed out time at this peaceful spot! After selling our home in Vancouver and the stresses of packing and moving, it was so nice to come to Jim and Jimmiesue's home while we awaited our next chapter. They were welcoming, kind, and generous. It is impeccably clean and well stocked.

A group of moms needed a break and this house did the trick. The home was warm and cozy, kitchen was stocked, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. Overall a great place to stay.

Child’s Birthday Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hobby Farm! Our birthday girl loved feeding the goats and holding the bunnies. Our family enjoyed the varied outdoor activities including mini golf and pickle ball. There were so many fun things to try! The home was warm and inviting inside with comfortable beds and charming decor. The owners were so kind, responsive, generous, and welcoming. Overall a fun and wonderful experience!

Host are awesome! The house is so well appointed and clean, we wanted to move in!! The peace and quiet, the rescue farm animals, fresh eggs, entertainment all added to our relaxation and enjoyment. Definitely a place to gather our family for future visits.

Clean, fun stay!

This property is the best-maintained place I have stayed for sure. You can tell the owners care about the state of their property immensely. Had communication with Jimmiesue who was super kind and took the time to tell us about the animals and show us how to hold the rabbits. Overall the stay was perfect, and I would definitely go again!

Perfect vacation

Everything about our vacation here was wonderful. Close to everything but yet on a farm, fresh eggs were a treat. Loved the animals. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. The rental had everything we needed and this was the cleanest Vrbo we have stayed at. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts. We will be back next year.

Love the Farm Life!

Great space for family fun! Pickleball, putt-putt golf, hot-tub, sauna, horse, donkey, goats, chickens - so many core memories made at this lovely property! Jim and Jimmie Sue were excellent in communication and so friendly.

Amazing family friendly farm

Our family was in town for a wedding and absolutely loved our stay here. We invited extended family over for a BBQ and the children had a blast playing all of the lawn games, climbing on their hanging obstacles, and seeing all of the animals on the farm. The adults got ridiculous competitive at pickleball which none of us had played since grade school gym class and was full of laughs. The house was itself was adorably decorated and had everything we needed and more. It was kid and infant friendly and the AC kept up with the above average temperatures we had over the 4th of July weekend. We were a little skeptical at first with the property owners being on the property with us, but Jim and Jimiesue were the sweetest people and made sure we were comfortable and having the best time we could. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a fun, kid friendly place. We will definitely be staying again if we come visit family.

Family vacation

At first I was a little nervous about this property since it’s a working farm. Where I’m from we have farms and they can get pretty noisy sometimes… thankfully this property was bigger and better than i expected. My niece and nephews came over everyday (they live nearby) and they absolutely adored all of the activities around the house. I think the most used activities were mini golf and the axe throwing. The last full day of our trip my family had a barbecue as a late celebration of my mother’s 60th birthday. The barbecue on the back porch is quite large and the fairy lights surrounding the back porch just made the whole event lovely. My family and I would love to stay here again in the future if it’s available! I highly recommend it here.

Amazing Mothers Day Getaway!

This sweet little farm was such a spectauclar find! Nestled just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything. The home was meticulous and even better than the online photos could show. It was very clean and so clozy and the perfect space for our group of 6. The property and outdoor space was spectacular - with all the amenitites we could wish for and then more! We played pickelball, interacted with the farm animals, grilled dinner and enjoyed it on the patio. We lounged on the porch and took long evening walks outside. This place was purely magical!

Wonderful getaway

We booked this on a whim for 2 adults and 3 kids. The house was immaculately clean, organized, and well-appointed. Jimmisue was friendly and available for any questions. The grounds were bursting with activities that were well maintained, we enjoyed the mini-golf, horseshoes, tether ball, basketball, frisbee golf, and many other activities. The sauna and hot tub were evening favorites. There was a spot for outdoor fire but we were too busy enjoying the other amenities to take advantage (next time?). Owners found an item we left behind and sent it back to us promptly, which we were SO appreciative of. Overall a great experience.

I stayed for a business trip to Clark County and overall I would recommend the place for those looking. Hosts are very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The house is nicely done with all the amenities.

Winter family gathering!

The home was incredible, just as pictured, even better! Clean, prepared, the bedding was fabulous, nothing was left to contemplation! Though it was rainy and cloudy through our stay we enjoyed the comfortable sofas, gathering with family in the kitchen and cooking together, the hot tub in the rain, and the sauna, too! Moments when the rain cleared, we enjoyed the miniature golf course, and we’re so excited to hear from the homeowners that the summer will be a pickle ball court! There is so much to do, and only a 10 minute drive to restaurants and shopping! The homeowners were wonderful, kind, courteous, available, excellent at hospitality! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Great place to stay with kids

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The house was clean and had everything we needed to stay with small children. They had booster seats, high chairs, pack and play and even a toddler bed. It made the difficulty of traveling with littles so much easier. They even had books and toys for the kids to play with when we arrived. The house was so clean and comfortable and really made the trip enjoyable. It felt like you were really rural but was so close to all the amenities. 10/10 recommend!

We were retired painting contractors looking to downsize without leaving our 5 acre hobby farm so we turned our house into a VRBO. We spend most of our time caring for our animals and tending the gardens. We have enjoyed hosting families from all over the globe and especially teaching the kiddos that food doesn't come from a box.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this farm 23 years ago. What drew us was the fact that the house is in the center of the five acres so we are buffered from the outside world. At the same time we are 2 minutes away from the I 205 and I 5 freeway and a 20 min from the Portland Airport.

What makes this property unique

What really makes this property unique from the other vacation rentals by owner is that we have a Farm Experience for every age. We try to set up the home and out door area according to the needs of each individual guest group. We also live onsite so we can be available to answer questions about the animals, gardens or events in our area.
