Magnetic Island is located 8km from Townsville and accessible by passenger or vehicle ferries.
67% of Magnetic Island is National Park Land, allowing for 36km of walking tracks with Australian wildlife like Koalas, Echidnas, Wallabys and many different birds. These tracks lead to magnificent views of the Island, its bays and surrounding blue Coral Sea.
Getting Around:
Magnetic Island can be easily accessed by the public bus service and taxis.
If you prefer to travel at your own pace there are hire cars available once on the Island. Parking is available.
Public Transport options are within walking distance from Papillon Bleu.
