About this property

Classic kiwi crib overlooking the river/estuary and right on the waters edge at high tide with safe swimming. Watch the amazing bird life at low tide while relaxing on the deck or take a 10 minute walk to a lovely white sandy beach. Great for surfing, swimming, fishing and peninsula walks. Walking distance to local shop. Please note: Bathroom and single beds room are basic, rustic and quirky but crib is clean, cosy and in a beautiful location with a fantastic view! Only 30 minutes to Dunedin.

Location good. Needs a new entry door as not secure and key broke in lock. Interior needs sprucing up especially for the amount of money paid for accommodation.

The pictures on this site are not a true depiction of reality!

This booking was made for friends traveling to Dunedin. The batch was not clean...there were mice inside...the door to enter was jammed with moisture...the bedding was inadequate and the batch was cold...toilet was leaking...a blind fell down when closed. When Sharon the owner was advised about the mice and other issues nothing was done and no compensation offered. The whole three day experience was totally disappointing. The photos online need to be updated because the batch is tired and poorly maintained. I would never recommend people book this property and it needs a lot of upgrading to be part of bookabatch because it is not doing the organisation justice!

Family memorial

location was on point and batch was just everything we needed. Our family gathered there for the memorial and to be able to stay right there and get things ready was awesome. Thank you. It was everything we hoped for and what a pleasure it was to walk in and see how cute and well fitted out it was. We will be back one day
