That House At Vincentia

Perfect for a family getaway, ‘That House at Vincentia’ is the destination stay in Vincentia, Jervis Bay. Located across from Orion’s beach. This newly renovated family home (Nov 2020) features 5 bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, three spacious living areas and an expansive deck with views across the bay.

All beds have Egyptian cotton & bath towels (at no extra cost). We ask you to bring your own beach towels.

For your additional comfort, we have included unlimited wifi, access to Foxtel, Netflix and Disney+.

An abundance of activities including golf, horse riding, bike riding paths, bushwalking, snorkelling, kayaking, surfing, dolphin and whale watching.

That House at Vincentia rests on Orion’s Beach, with Barfleur and Nelson’s Beach a small walk away. Follow the path in front of our house to Huskisson, or follow Lambs Crescent to the beginning of the White Sands Walk and end up at the picturesque Hyam’s Beach.

Note: Due to COVID-19, we have added additional cleaning measures to ensure your safety and comfort. Furthermore, for your added security, this property is managed in Australia and we never request payments to be made to overseas bank accounts.

Ground Floor: 2 bedrooms (two king single beds & lounge room; and a queen size bedroom), 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchenette, 2 TVs, Laundry

Ground Floor Kitchenette: sink, crockery, cutlery, microwave and bar fridge.

First Floor: 3 bedrooms (two queen size bedrooms & one bedroom with two king single beds), main bathroom, lounge room, kitchen and dining, expansive entertainment deck.

First Floor Kitchen: fully equipped with a fridge, oven/induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, sandwich press, coffee maker, tea towels, crockery, glassware, storage and cleaning products. The pantry contains a range of teas, coffee capsules, salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oils and sauces.

Outdoors: Outdoor shower (downstairs), Northern facing expansive deck with alfresco dining for 12, BBQ, two deck umbrellas provided for shade, perfect backyard for children to run around. Fenced, gates with child-proof locks. Downstairs (at rear), deck with seating for 6, Weber BBQ and external light for those evening BBQ's.

This is a great location - walking access to so many of Vincentia's beaches.We had a problem with the main TV on arrival... no problem... the host came the same day with a replacement to ensure our stay was uninterrupted and enjoyable - outstanding!Airconditioning would be nice but the sea breeze was very pleasant.

Wonderful!

Having holidayed at many STAYZ properties over the years, this has to rank as one of the best we've been to. We are a group of 7 adults but only 1 couple so the bedrooms, bathrooms and 3 separate living areas suited us perfectly. The house is very well appointed, especially the kitchen where we even found candles in the pantry for our birthday cake! Will definitely be back.

My wife and I have always preferred the South Coast as it is far less developed than the north. We have taken our children here, on and off, since the early 2000's. We've always wanted a place to escape to and one that is near the water - this fits quite nicely. What's more, it's only 2.5 hrs from Sydney!

Why they chose this property

We'd stayed in this house previously, and thought that this would be a nice place to buy.
Well, in 2013 our dreams came true. The first series of renovations were coordinated with a superb local builder, Andrew Watt, along with a few other trades has helped, transform this house. More recently, in 2020, we added a new kitchen, a third bathroom (double shower), renovated the laundry, upgraded the electrics and replaced the floor tiles.

What makes this property unique

While this is somewhat personal, the ability to go to different beaches, walk, bike ride, swim...just unwind in a setting that we find particularly relaxing are some of the benefits. Having separate lounge / TV and dining areas mean you can have some down-time (away from the kids)..they can have their own space and you can come to dinner, if you want. Being able to invite our friends down is a real benefit.
