The location and view was excellent. The house was bright, clean, welcoming and comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen is well equipped and there are board games to play.

Thanks Philippa - so glad you and your family enjoyed our holiday house.
The amenities were in great condition and we had no faults with the appliances. Unfortunately the beds were very firm and we found it difficult to sleep especially on the first night. The view is amazing and family that stopped by for lunch were absolutely jealous we were able to stay in such a beautiful location/home. Would definitely stay here again.
Great view and very roomy with a beautiful fire place.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
The house was tidy but dirty. The windows were filthy with fingerprints all over the glass door and dead insects everywhere. There was limited supplies of essential things like bin liners, bug spray, coffee, toilet paper especially for us as we were staying for 2 weeks.

An interesting review Christine. As you referenced we do provide essentials that our cleaner keeps restocked. Typically other guests who have stayed with us for extended periods of time have purchased their own supplies when they've used up those provided. Given that we did not hear from you at all during your stay and accomodated your exceptional pre stay requests prior to check in we assumed all was going well. All the best.
We loved this for our family of four - it was a great location, beautiful views, extra things for the kids (games, DVDs, etc), everything we could wish for. I loved the wood burning stove and we even saw an echidna and wallabies in the garden! Highly recommend! Thank you hosts for your care

So glad you and your family enjoyed the house and wildlife.
We had a great time, though the stove top was a little unsafe as we thought it was off and it kept flicking on and off and it was temperamental. Other then that it was great

Glad you had a good time Claire and thanks for letting us know about the stove. We replaced the whole oven and stovetop with a brand new one the day you left so really appreciated the feedback. Take care, Martha
Lovely house, beautiful view. We felt very much at home. Stunning beach just down the road. Loved hearing the waves from the deck at night. The driveway is steep, but take it easy in a 2wd and you'll be fine.
