We enjoyed a lovely three day break here, with everything we needed provided. Sue is a great host and clearly makes a big effort to provide an immaculate place to stay. Wonderful views across the water to the city. Thank you Sue, Pamela.
We loved this place! Beautiful suite with large deck to watch boats and gaze at the stars. So much to do in Wellington and we chose the perfect location to stay. We enjoyed the cable car ride up the mountain with a leisurely walk back down thru the botanical gardens and historic cemetery. Even watched the Super Bowl at a local pub. Go Chiefs!!
Amazing views. Comfortable bed and clean room. Just what we needed. A place to stay whilst visiting friends in Wellington. Not for those with mobility issues due to stairs.
What a lovely location with an amazing view of the harbour and surrounding properties. Property was very clean & tidy and the host was very friendly. Highly recommend this for couples looking for a romantic weekend away.
We stayed two nights and wished we could stay longer. Clean room, beautiful view and warm host. This is one of the highlights of our trip. We suggest everyone to go to this place, you will not regret.
We had a lovely stay, beautiful clean studio with wonderful views and nice big bathtub for relaxing. Sue is a great host and keeps a tidy accomodation.
Comfortable and cosy. Great location with a fantastic view. Ideal for our requirements as a short stay location and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Sue.

thank you for being such amazing and lovely guests! We hope to host you again. Warm regards, Sue
This is a lovely spot, walking distance to city centre, Mt Victoria, but buses are almost at the door. Wonderful views over the harbour and good plane spotting too if you're into that. We really enjoyed our stay thanks.
We had a fabulous time at Sue’s place in Wellington. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious with a wonderful tub, and the views were magnificent. She was a wonderful host and made sure we had what we needed throughout our 4 day stay.
This lovely property has the most magnificent view of Wellington harbour. Sue is a delightful host; friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Do be aware there are many steps down from the road to the studio but they are well-lit at night and provide quiet and privacy. Buses very close by for easy access into Wellington. A great base to explore from.

About the host
Hosted by Sue
Sue immigrated from the US in 1998, and has called Roseneath home ever since. Sue works in IT.
Why they chose this property
This property has a lot of stairs that keep us fit, but the stairs provide amazing views from every level of the home. In winter we get full sun into the house which is spectacular. We have extensively renovated in the past 20 years, and the Studio was purpose built in 2007.
What makes this property unique
Views, amazing views, harbour traffic and activities, changing weather fascinating to watch.
