Jacinta was so responsive and a great host! Her house was perfect, spotless, great location, and even better than the pics! Beds were super comfortable and was a great spot for 6 adults and 1 toddler
This was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in! Our family (3 yr old, 1.5 and a newborn) had a great fall getaway staying here. The property was extremely clean and so cozy. It really felt like a home away from home. I would strongly recommend staying here and can’t wait to plan our trip back next year!
The house was very clean and comfortable, check in and out were extremely easy, and communication with property manager was very friendly and helpful. We hope this property is available for our future visits!
The property was great. It was close to a lot of the local Mystic attractions while still being in a quiet neighborhood. Jacinta was super nice and helpful.
This was the best place for my group of friends and I to reconnect and explore Mystic for the weekend! Highly recommend- super clean, comfortable, great location, and had everything we need. Jacinta was a great host!!
The house and Jacinta were both wonderful.
The house is well kept with plenty of room.
Jacinta was the perfect host, communicating anything we needed to know and offering knowledge of the area if needed.
An excellent property just a short walk away from all that downtown Mystic offers and a short drive from the Aquarium. Jacinta was attentive and available for any issues that arose (although there were not any).
It was truly a wonderful vacation!!!
Jacinta was amazing!! The house was cozy and warm. Loved coming "home" everyday after being a tourist. So close to everything the family wanted to do and see.
Jacinta also gave amazing tips of things that weren't on our bucket list but was happy to add.
Would stay again in a heartbeat!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Jacinta’s home. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, perfectly situated between Mystic and Stonington, good for biking with young kids, and walkable to great food (Nana’s!). The house is super clean, well organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you should need. Jacinta was very communicative and welcoming (the wine and cheese and snacks were a wonderful surprise!), and we appreciated her recommendations for the area. We hope to return!
We enjoyed the location and tne home very much. I Would have given a 5 except for the air conditioning which struggled to keep the whole house cool because they were only in the bedrooms. Also, water pressure in the shower was poor and the height of the shower head was too short.
We had a great week in Mystic. Jacinta was the perfect host! The house was perfect for our group..we spent each day at the beach and it was nice to come back and be able to make a meal and sit outside by the fire pit on the beautiful patio. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to town, grocery shopping and a boat launch (and room to park our boat and three cars in the driveway which was a bonus!) The house was well stocked with all of our needs, the beds were very comfy and we even had a bottle of wine, cheese and snacks to greet us! Highly recommend. Thanks Jacinta!
Overall experience was absolutely amazing, the host contacted me with cell number if I needed anything, and made some unusual requests happen when my travel times changed at last minute. I could not ask for a better experience, home was neat and well organized, with everything you could need and more, location was on a quiet street, but conveniently close to everything at the same time. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay in Mystic. The house was very clean and comfortable and fit the needs for our family wonderfully. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and my boys enjoyed playing basketball on the street. Everything was great and wonderful communication with the host.
The house is clean, comfortable and conveniently located for quick trips to Mystic and beyond. We ventured from Alabama to Connecticut for my wife’s birthday. Jacinta’s house served as our home base for exploring Mystic, New Haven and the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our stay and Jacinta was very attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this as the place to stay in Mystic!
We stayed here with friends for a winter weekend. The kids played in the yard and we cooked a big meal in the kitchen and it was friendly and cozy. We also took a short trip to the Mystic seaport museum, just a few minutes away. Great trip!

About the host
Hosted by Jacinta Simoncini
I have lived and worked here in Mystic for 30 years now and still love being able to take a morning walk downtown to enjoy the sights and sounds of the river. I have two great kids, all grown up and one grandchild. With a love of traveling I've been super lucky to see some amazing places in the world but my bucket list is still long and that makes me happy. An avid biker and hiker, I am just about in the middle of section hiking the Long Trail in Vermont with a friend. We have completed about 150 miles but still have some to go. I am really excited to be able to open my home up to travelers who want to experience Mystic. I travel a lot in Europe with a group of friends and we always book homes to stay in - how we are treated in those homes makes a huge difference to the success of our vacation and I am excited to be able to share my home with you. I am new to this right now but I hope I am able to bring what I've learned from my experience staying at amazing homes to make your stay a great one where you can make good memories.
Why they chose this property
I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to enjoy this particular property. The location on the corner lot on such a quiet street is great and being just three doors up from the cove makes it feel special. The walk into Mystic is a pretty one and I am lucky to have safe lighted pavements all the way in as soon as you leave our street. Having access to water sports and incredible beaches that are just about 20 minutes away makes this location a pretty cool one. I love riding bikes and the roads here offer up miles and miles of quiet riding with loads of gorgeous scenery, and a few not so challenging hills. There are wineries to visit, breweries to try a new beer, farmers markets and good ice cream to eat down on the docks. The village of Stonington just a couple of minutes away from the house is also a little gem and way worth a visit.
What makes this property unique
The outdoor bluestone patio in the back garden is surrounded by a 40 foot grape arbor and mature plantings that make it a peaceful place to hang out and enjoy. When you are in there you have no idea there people living on the same street. The front patio is the place to have a morning cup of coffee as the sun always hits there first. It is a really friendly neighborhood and it is fun to see people out walking their dogs or taking a morning jog and to say a quick good-morning.
