This is our second time staying at this location and it really works for our family. Close to town and also close to the family we are visiting at StoneRidge Assisted Living. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay and how close it was to everything in Mystic. The home met our needs, and had almost everything we needed. It was the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood.
What a great place this was.my granddaughter (6)wanted to move in. Beautiful place,Great location .weather want best til last day but works for aquarium and shopping w umbrella.I would definitely recommend to others coming to mystic.the taco place was a find
Our family of four felt right at home in this cozy small ranch. The beds were very comfortable and there was a large couch to relax on. There are great views from the end of the road and town is a short 20 minute walk away. Our only issue was that there were no dish towels or sponges to be found anywhere in the kitchen, so cleaning up from meals with kids was challenging. Otherwise we had a really wonderful time here.
The house was exactly what we needed. It’s close to everything but set off a quiet street. We were able to walk around the neighborhood and walk to get coffee and ice cream! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and Janet was beyond helpful and accommodating.
We visited for parents weekend at the Coast Guard Academy. It was a great location to access the campus and other activities. Beds were comfortable and yard was big enough to throw a football which meant a lot to our kids. Communication with host was quick and easy.
My girlfriend and I stayed for four nights with our three kids and one of their friends here. Very spacious home and very close to downtown Mystic. In fact, her son and son's friend brought their bikes and biked the area with no issues. The owners were very quick to answer when we pinged them about certain things. The house was clean and we will most definitely stay there again for a trip next year.
This home was exactly what we were looking for. In a quiet neighborhood, with a great backyard, including a hammock and close to downtown Mystic, Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport.
Our stay coincided with the arrival of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Henri which made landfall just a few miles away in Rhode Island. The owner reached out to us before the storm and we talked about the weather, the house and our travel plans. She was really great and let us adjust our dates at the last minute and also gave us updates about any damage, flooding or loss of power (the storm ended up not being too bad and everything was fine).
The house itself was really nice, perfect for our family of four. It was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We go to Mystic every year to visit family and honestly we will probably not even search and just check to see if it is available again next time!
We had a really great stay here. Not being familiar with Mystic, this location was centrally located and about 10-15 minutes from every place we wanted to go to. The house feels very private, the grounds were spacious so our kids could run around and play, the inside was very clean and comfortable, and we slept very well in the beds. You can see the nearby water from the driveway, which is nice, though it's not accessible. If I had criticisms it would be the middle of the couch has a strong dog smell which was off-putting to my wife but no one else really cared. Also, you may want to change one of the heat shields in the grill as it's slightly rusty. These are small, small points ... All in all, we really enjoyed our 3 days here and would absolutely stay here again.
The home, property and neighborhood are lovely, close by everything we could possibly want: beaches, supermarket, restaurants, etc. Easy and quick ride to Old Mistic Village, Aquarium and Mystic Seaport. Children had a blast!
