Whether you are looking to explore Mystic, discover the local area, or simply stay in the shade and listen to the birds, this house has it all! Fully furnished with towels, linens, WiFi, cookware, and access to Netflix and a PlayStation 4. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and is handicap accessible.

Quaint quiet house

This was a perfect home for my family of five. It's very clean and cozy. Had everything we could need. Great little backyard in a quiet area. Short drive (or walk) to downtown Mystic. I'd highly recommend.

Another positive experience

This is our second trip back to this property. And, as before it was a great stay. Location is wonderful as is the house itself. Perfect for exploring Mystic and the area nearby.

Lovely home in Mystic

This is that rare property that is not only great for you and your spouse, but it is rare to find a fenced in backyard to allow your four-legged family members to run to their hearts content.

Great Location

We had a great family get away to Mystic. The house was clean and tidy. The fenced in yard was a great bonus with our dog. Communication with the host was great and he was very quick to respond. We loved the video he shared with what to do in Mystic. Overall a great place!

Cute, well maintained and convenient Mystic House

We were so appreciative of the fenced in yard close to town, and it was exactly what we needed while we were in the area for a few days attending an event. It was clean and comfortable, and the home is managed by a very nice family. It was perfect for our two small cavaliers, and was quiet at night. Thank you for hosting us!

Weekend in Mystic

Property looks attractive, but master bedroom bed was uncomfortable, fridge was dirty, towels weren’t smelling fresh, lots of animal hair throughout, months of buildup in the dryer vent, snacks were outdated, and shower head in the only bathroom wasn’t working.

Did not want to come home

We had the absolute best experience. Clean , quiet area ( even though it is in close proximity to major attractions) highly recommend and will absolutely book again . My family had a difficult time saying goodbye when it was time to return home .

Great property for dogs and close to town!

Great location and is perfect if you have dogs. We stayed at the house with my in-laws and 2 dogs. The house was very clean and the backyard had a fence which was perfect for our lab and small havanese. They even had dog toys for them to play with. The walk to town was easy and we enjoyed shopping at all the stores. We ate at Bravo Bravo for dinner and it was excellent. I would definitely come back and stay here!

Cozy Cottage in Mystic

We really enjoyed our stay in this little house. Everything was provided that we could possibly need on our arrival. The location is perfect if you want to explore the village was well as the Seaport and Aquarium. Mystic Pizza is right down the street so we brought one home one night. It's nice to be welcomed when you travel with a well-behaved fur baby! Our corgi felt right at home.

Weekend Getaway

This property absolutely perfect. Everything in the listing was accurate. Communication was quick and painless. We wanted to take a weekend with our 2 dogs, one who is diagnosed with cancer, and create some lasting memories. Our weekend in Mystic was everything we needed and more. The house was centrally located so it was quick trip to Main Street for shopping & dining. Beaches and parks are close by too. I highly recommend this listing for your next weekend getaway. Short getaway close to sights

Overall, the house was a convenient location--everything we planned to see in Mystic was no more than 10 minutes tops (to aquarium and mystic village) and downtown was less than 5 (mystic pizza and shops).The closed in backyard was perfect for our dog and for the kids to run and play--definitely a great feature for our stay as a family.The house provided entertainment as far tv and games were concerned which was nice for winding down after a busy day.On the other hand, the house wasn't as clean as expected. There was trash found under the furniture that our dog and kids discovered as well as ants in various parts of the house. This may have been an oversight from the cleaning crew, however it left us feeling a bit disappointed in this regard and wanting to tidy up more than what was done.We also felt we had to do a full sweep of the house to "kid proof" everything. Meaning we had to make sure that cleaning chemicals were kept out of reach and sharp kitchen utensils were not easily found by the kids. This is something we always do in each of our vrbo stays so I'd say this not out of the ordinary. We just suggest that if bringing small kids, bring your child proofing items and a gate for the stairs as it is a bit steep for small children.As a whole, we would choose to stay here again for the convenience, the yard space, and that it met our needs as a family seeking to take in the sights of Mystic.

Excellent location to nearby activities. Lots of space for a family. Comfortable, clean, quiet. Great fenced in yard. Dogs next door do bark when they see another dog. We did only have 1 roll of toilet paper but I think that was an oversight. The stairs are very steep and the door to the basement was unlocked, and lots of chemicals and such in cabinets at floor level so be careful with small children. Otherwise excellent stay!

Home away from home

This home is perfectly located within waking distance from town and was just right for our family of 4 plus our dog. The fenced in yard allowed us to bring our dog with us on our family vacation. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck, grilling and relaxing after a long day enjoy all the area has to offer! Can’t wait to go back!

Great three day escape July 2020

This house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. My wife, puppy and I stayed for three nights and would definitely return. The fenced in backyard was big hit with the fog. The place was very clean. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Mystic you will be very happy choosing this property.

Quiet and Cozy - Perfect

We were looking for a quiet escape to regain our sanity after a rough couple of months. This was the place. It had everything we needed and then some. One of the biggest plusses for us was the fenced in yard so that we could relax outside and let the dog go off leash. We had a couple of questions when we first got there, and Tyler answered them in a matter of minutes. There is also a very helpful visitors guide for those people who want to get out and explore, we tried a couple of the highlighted venues and weren't disappointed in the least. Very thoughtful hosts. We would go back without hesitation. Thank you Tyler and Hope!

Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend getaway in Mystic and loved our stay here! My husband and I went with our almost 2 year old and our dog. The house was really cute and clean! We slept comfortably in the downstairs bedroom and enjoyed the outdoor space as well - huge plus that the yard is fenced in so we could let our dog out! The location is great, you can walk to downtown Mystic and it’s just a quick drive to other attractions like the aquarium.

I was born and raised in Southeastern Connecticut and currently reside in Mystic. I own one vacation rental in Mystic which over the past year my wife and I have newly renovated and fully remodeled. It is very rewarding to be able to share Historic Mystic with visitors, and to make them feel right at home in the process.
We have both discovered a passion for this area, and we look forward to getting to work on the next one!

Why they chose this property

This is the perfect property for anyone looking to enjoy Mystic, Connecticut but also having the peace of being far enough away from Downtown. Downtown is just over a half a mile walk, where all of the shops, restaurants, and the historic Mystic River Bascule Bridge are located.

The Mystic Seaport is about a five minute drive away, and the beautiful beaches of Rhode Island are a 25 minute drive. The Foxwood and Mohegan Sun casinos are within 25 minutes.

What makes this property unique

Fenced in yard, free parking, keypad entry to the house, fully equipped kitchen, large 16'x14' deck, outdoor and indoor games, PlayStation 4, fluffy towels and soft sheets, and a cozy feel that makes any vacationer feel at home!

There is so much to do in this area, from shops, restaurants, beaches, nature walks, and plenty of happy hours. I have grown up in this area my whole life and am always happy to offer suggestions or recommendations.
