A very central but quiet area only 7 minutes from the City, 4 minutes from the shopping area and supermarkets and 4 min from the Airport. It is recommended to rent a car.

CHANGE OF PLANS

Did not stay at the property because the owner had rented the place out to a long term customer and forgot to notify me of the cancellation. He quickly found me an alternate place to stay for a couple of days until another place became available for the remainder of my stay. Although it wasn’t what I was expecting the places were cozy and clean. The people were nice. Having to prepay electricity was new to me, but it wasn’t that difficult to manage. We had to run the a/c for most part because it is very hot there, but overall I enjoyed my stay in Curacao.

Nice retreat without breaking the bank

I rented this unit for 4 weeks and it worked out nicely. I chose this place because it had all I needed at a very good price. Dayenne and Chandell are very friendly hosts and always responsive when needed, yet always respectful of privacy. The neighborhood may not have a great reputation (whence the price), but honestly, I felt very safe the whole time. The street is a cul-de-sac so very little traffic passes by. I had my dutch door half open til late at night, without a care. If you need internet, be aware that the wifi is a little slow, but I was able to stream audio without problem, and occasionally video with a few buffering lapses. Back to the price, when comparing properties, be aware that this unit does not normally include electricity in the price. You buy electricity at a local gas station and key in your code to credit your account. Cost is about Naf 0.84 per kwh. On an average day, with minimal use like I did, you will use about 16-20 kwh. Adding credits is very simple, but this cost should be factored in. Otherwise, this is an excellent rental for 1 or 2 adults who don’t mind waking up to the neighborhood rooster!

L’hôte a annulé mon séjour d’1 mois alors que j’attendais mon vol a l’aéroport , sans me donner de raison … sûrement du surbooking . 1 mois à me battre pour essayer d’avoir une partie de la somme versée, car l’endroit où elle m’a relogé n’était pas convenable. Manque flagrant de transparence et d’honnêteté…Heureusement que VRBO et Supriya m’a soutenu et compensé

Leuke rustige appartement

We hebben genoten van onze verblijf. Locatie was rustig en best centraal. Gastheer Chandell en gastvrouw Dayenne waren servicegericht en vriendelijk. Heb je iets nodig, zorgen ze dat het in orde komt.

Grauenhaftes Gefühl in diesem Appartement (= 0-Sterne)

Wir haben eine Appartement vom 14.03.2024 bis 22.03.2024 über www.fewo-direkt.de gebucht. Das war der absolute Alptraum!!! Die Beschreibung passt nicht mit der Realität überein — es ist eine reine Bruchbude!!! BITTE dieses Appartement NIEMALS buchen - ihr werdet sehr enttäuscht sein. Wir können aus persönlicher Erfahrung sagen, dass wir mit dieser Bewertung keineswegs übertrieben haben… Wir sind bestimmt nicht verwöhnte Touristen, im Gegenteil, wir sind bodenständige Menschen, die lediglich Wert auf Sauberkeit legen und NICHT auf Luxus stehen. Die Einrichtung ist SEHR abgewohnt (und schrottreif). Die Matratze ist verdreckt, mit Flecken und liegt auf Brettern, die einzubrechen drohen… Der Kühlschrank ist ekelhaft dreckig, stinkt und voller Rost und verliert Wasser. Es gibt ein Gaß—Backofen, der nicht funktionierte!! Die Dusche hat KEIN warmes Duschwasser. Es gibt keinen Durchlauferhitzer, daher nirgends Warmwasser, auch kein Wasserkocher vorhanden und auch keine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden. STROM muss extra bezahlt (gekauft) werden. Hierzu muss man Strom an einer Tankstelle kaufen… Die Möbel sind wirklich sehr schrottreif. Das gesamte Appartement sollte niemand buchen… Bitte vertraut NICHT der Internetbeschreibung - insbesondere nicht www.fewo-direkt.de (der größte Reinfall)!!! Nie wieder dieses Appartement „friedvolles Appartement“ buchen…
