Overall this is a nice property. The pullout sofa and futon are not very comfortable, otherwise enjoyed everything else.

Cute place
This cabin is adorable. It was clean and had everything I needed. It’s also definitely a great location in Barnes. Easy to find and super close to where my sister lives. There are two downsides, neither of which are the owner’s fault, but probably helpful to know: first of all, it is steps off of a very busy road (busy for Barnes, anyway) so you absolutely have to keep your dogs leashed the entire time. Second, they have well water. I grew up with well water so I was kind of used to it, but it has a strong smell. Your hands will smell like metal every time you wash them. I am very sensitive to smells, so that’s a pretty big drawback for me but may not be for other people. I just bought a big jug of water and I was fine.

Nice place
We have stayed here before, the location is perfect as it's close to family. There are restaurants nearby and trails to ride ATV/UTV's. We will come back when we are up in the area again.

Great cozy little cabin!
Cabin was beautiful! Had nice variety of games and puzzles. Trails on the property were great for hiking with our dogs. The frogs singing at night was magical! Loved every second of our stay.

SHOVEL YOUR WAY IN
Extremely Disappointing!!!! The driveway was covered in snow and ice. We drove up the driveway which was barely wide enough for the truck let alone the snowmobile trailer. My husband had to shovel the driveway to even open the truck doors it was so narrow, and the snow was about 4 feet deep all around. At this point with no place to go we tried to back down the driveway which the truck and trailer slid all the way down getting stuck at the bottom of the driveway. Then my husband proceeded to shovel snow for THREE HOURS!! After having to unhook the trailer and unload our snowmobiles we were FINALLY able to get back up the driveway. My husband drives a 2020 Silverado Chevrolet Truck with 6.2 L engine. I don't appreciate having my husband outside digging out the driveway on our vacation and the front steps just to get to the front door that no one shoveled either prior to us arriving. I'm not sure what happened if they just forgot or thought the guests should just shovel their way in??? If "SHOVEL YOUR WAY IN" was in the description when I booked our vacation, I would have picked another place to stay.
