Two self catering facilities just restored, located on the shore of the Loire just under the city of Decize. In a 2000m² park with a playground and a bungalow
labelled 3 épis by Gîtes de France, they are availabloe from one to twelve people. They each contain two bathrooms with flush toilets, a dishwasher, TV, Wifi. There is a common room with an internet access

Is dit de typische franse slag? Voor ons: een teleurstelling!

De “maissonette”, zoals het kleine huisje op de website van homeaway werd genoemd, was bij aankomst niet goed schoon. De sporen van de vorige gasten waren te vinden in de kamer, keuken en badkamer. De gastheer overhandigde ons 1 kleine en 1 grote handdoek p.p. voor een verblijf van 10 dagen. Ook het bed werd niet verschoond gedurende die tijd. I.v.m. de verbouwing lag ‘onze’ buitenruimte vol bouwmaterialen. Een verbleekte parasol vol scheuren completteerde het geheel. Het petite dejeuner, dat iedere morgen geserveerd zou worden, zoals aangekondigd op de website, hebben we niet gezien. Bij navraag, verwees de verhuurder naar zijn facebookpagina, waarin dit aanbod niet opgenomen was. Al met al, is dit verblijf een grote teleurstelling voor ons geworden en zeker niet waard om aan te bevelen.

great property for families.

The property is absolutely lovely. The garden, play area (for children) and outdoor seating is perfect for families. We even had a BBQ -in March!! The owner was very helpful and thoughtful. Bicycles can be rented and Decize is a lovely place to cycle. The inside of the property is finished to a high standard but also has all the amenities needed for young children i.e. changing table, travel cot, high chair provided. Kitchen and bathrooms were modern and the entire place was spotless. We look forward to coming back.

Beau gîte avec le charme de l'ancien

Gîte bien équipé et fonctionnel rénové avec goût, mêlant l'ancien et le moderne avec harmonie. A deux pas du centre ville, on peut tout faire à pied, mais néanmoins au calme avec vue sur un très beau jardin fleuri et arboré. Les pêcheurs seront ravis par la proximité de la Loire et du Canal du nivernais, les cyclistes ne seront pas en reste avec de très belles pistes permettant de grandes randonnées. Le propriétaire vous propose à la location un grand choix de vélos. Nous avons été particulièrement bien accueillis et conseillés sur la visite de sites touristiques fort agréables. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine et nous reviendrons bien volontiers. Merci pour le cadeau de bienvenue et votre grande disponibilité.
