The Space:
Sandy Decks is a stunning beachfront holiday house with wide timber decks that make outside living perfect. The view looking across the Coral Sea to Cape Cleveland will help to remind you that you are living the island dream. This home has been designed with the plan that makes it possible for 2 guests to enjoy to features of the property without the additional bedroom pavilions. If there are more family members joining the holiday the additional bedrooms and bathrooms can also be included for an additional charge.

The master bedroom upstairs in the main house boasts ocean views that you can enjoy without leaving your queen size bed. The room is complimented by an ensuite and opens to a large private balcony. If you must work while you are on your tropical escape, the study area provides a comfortable and quite space to complete your tasks while still enjoying the ocean views.
The pavilions either side of the main house each consist of a beach view queen room and a twin share garden view room. Each pavilion has a shared bathroom between the two rooms.
The large open plan kitchen, dining and living area is complete with glass doors opening to the balcony, and allows the spectacular views outside to be enjoyed in air-conditioned comfort year-round. There is a separate lounge room with TV, allowing space for the whole family to relax and enjoy their time in this beautiful home.
Sandy Decks has both ceiling fans and air-conditioners throughout the property to keep you comfortable on the glassy summer days.

You will have access to the whole house, unless booking for 2 guests where you will only have access to the main house.

Magnetic Island is located 8km from Townsville and accessible by passenger or vehicle ferries.
67% of Magnetic Island is National Park Land, allowing for 36km of walking tracks with Australian wildlife like Koalas, Echidnas, Wallabys and many different birds. These tracks lead to magnificent views of the Island, its bays and surrounding blue Coral Sea.
Getting Around:
Magnetic Island can be easily accessed by the public bus service and taxis.
If you prefer to travel at your own pace there are hire cars available once on the Island. Parking is available.
Public Transport options are a close walking distance from Sandy Decks
