From the first moment arriving at the automated gates, it's the attention to detail that sets Mount View Estate as supreme in perfection; an impressive front entrance with large rare mudstone rocks and a grand automated double gate with private pin code access. Surrounded by natural Australian landscaped gardens with strking water feature will bring peace, balance and harmony.

The alfresco dining deck and leisure pavilion afford stunning views of the mountainous landscape and sit alongside the unique horizon edge pool and spa (spa is heated all year round, pool is solar heated).

The venue suits both intimate and private gatherings. The striking modern hill-side decking adds distinctive sophistication to the Yarra Valley property, perfect for achieving that special 'wow' factor for your luxury escape. The design is contemporary yet natural with three Mirboo platforms set below the horizon edge pool, spanning across a gently sloping hill with landscaped gardens. The end of the decking overhangs a steep decline to offer guests spectacular views and tranquility.

The imaginative and innovative old-world architecture combines classic charm and contemporary refinement, inviting guests to relax in exceptional comfort.

The bedrooms have been renovated to include individual ensuites and currently the property provides a maximum of 10 guests. The downstairs bedrooms all with views are king bedrooms that can be split to twin upon request. Upstairs is another king bedroom with a two-way bathroom. The upstairs attic bedroom is a queen room with pool views and shares a two-way bathroom. This room is open plan and does not have a door. The rumpus/attic room off the kitchen provides a double futon bed for extra guests. 2 commercial rollaways are also available for extra guests.

What a magnificent location. The vista across the yarra valley to Mt Donna Buang is spectacular. We lucked it with the weather which is always a plus. The house is perfect for out needs - 4 adult couples. The outdoor pool & entertaining area including BBQ worked perectly. A very memorable wekend in a very memorable home. Thank you!

This estate is truly the most amazing property.. the views were mind blowing.. sitting in the pool looking out to the valley incredible.. There was everything you needed provided to make the stay so relaxing and comfortable.. 60TH CELEBRATION IN STYLE!!

Group of eight (4 couples) stayed to celebrate a surprise 60th. What an absolutely gorgeous property with beautiful views - simply stunning. All bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the house has everything you need however our time was spent in the pavilion and pool/spa which was incredible. The highlight of our stay was booking the private dining experience offered by Jane - Chef Reuben did not disappoint, not only beautifully presented, it was just delicious. We all really enjoyed the time he spent with us during our first course (you will have to book to find out what it was) it was a night we will never forget so we are planning our next special occasion there next year! Thank you Jane and Rod for giving your guests an experience they will never forget!!

Beautiful views across the valley and stunning outdoor area.

This property is gorgeous, the location is amazing and very quiet. The stay fit our needs really well. A few things were disappointing though; the kitchen needs a really good scrub! The drawers & oven looked grubby. Inside kitchen drawers there were crumbs in almost every drawer. We washed everything before using because it didn’t all look clean. The dryer has a sticker on it that says in does not work. The en-suite bathrooms do not have doors, which is strange. Nobody wants to see or hear their partner on the toilet. I don’t like cleaning lists when we pay a cleaning fee - this was sent through the day before arrival. We did perform all duties as asked by the hosts, but it didn’t make us feel good having chores at the end. The house is a little worn, you can tell it’s had heavy use. The floors are in good shape, but it probably needs repainting. With that being said, the property is well equipped and the hosts wife was absolutely lovely! She let us check in early (we got there an hour early), and had provided easy instructions for arrival & access. The view is stunningly beautiful from the upstairs and outside. The size of the house is great, and we gave the pool table a number of rounds. The furniture is good in all areas, and we appreciated the pantry items for basic cooking needs & bathroom amenities. They have a beautiful property, but perhaps need to hire a new cleaning crew and perform some maintenance. It served its purpose and we had a great weekend. Thanks!

A dream Christmas getaway

We arrived to Mount View Estate with high expectations after seeing the photos but the view in real life was extraordinary! The house itself was the perfect place to spend Christmas, kitchen was fully equipped and the rooms were clean and tidy! We spent the majority of our trip using the pool and pavilion area as the views were just breathtaking! Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to go back again in the future. AMAZING GETAWAY!

Just recently stayed here, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! I only stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and wished I could of stayed for 7 nights. The view was the main highlight and you feel rewarded being surrounded with beautiful nature and serenity. The house itself had bonuses such as a gigantic pool, spa and pool table and a pavilion with fireplace and a bar. The beds were very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen made it so helpful when cooking with all the facilities from basics provided to all the pans, pots and cutlery being there. The caretaker does live on the property, but he's definitely handy when you need someone there for any assistance. The only issue was the spa was a bit confusing to heat up but other than that the property is just jaw dropping!
