Must Love Dogs Rutherglen, which offers luxury accommodation, was built in 1840 and was previously home to the Globe Hotel. This quaint cottage has two luxury suites, and is set on a corner block with tanquil gardens with an ambience, character and charm all of its own.


COSY,WARM, open fire,enjoy breakfasts & romantic evening meals by our georgeous log the heritage listed dining room.
POOL -in summer, Dont forget your bathers as you can relax in our solar heated pool and spa. The pool area is fully shaded by a shade sail and is the ultimate place to relax, unwind and regain your serenity. We provide the ultimate fluffy towels.

Pet friendly means that we treat your dogs like our own. Pet are most welcome within the house and the gardens are fully fenced with a well maintained secure area, ideal for the dogs to frolic.

THE GARDEN SUITE has polished boards throughout & is very pet friendly. The suite is comfortably decked out with a leather couch, fridge, table & chairs, quality teas, coffee & muscat .TV and large collection of DVD's. A single bed can be provided if required. The Queen size Wenetex bed receives wonderful reviews, velour bathrobes are provided, and a private ensuite with a claw foot bath and walk in shower with disabled rail/ The spacious bathroom has excellent lighting for make-up and shaving. We provide bubble bath and quality shampoo and conditioner.

THE CHANDELIER SUITE is sophisticated and old worldly, has 12ft ceilings, velvet drapes, a beautiful morano glass chandelier, quality leather couch, table & chairs, Fridge, 50inch TV with DVD player and your own Espresso machine. The bedroom has a queen bed, luxury bedding, velvet bathrobes, leading into your ensuite with a walk in shower, including disabled rail and heated towel rail.

Each suite has its own private garden.

THE DINING ROOM is Heritage Listed with rugged brick walls and 14 foot ceilings to add to the ambience of dining. We are walking distance from the restaurants and close to over 20 wineries in the Rutherglen region.

EVENING MEALS
We can personally design a 2 course menu "Just For You", including some of your favourite foods with our local produce. The heritage listed dining room is perfect for a romantic candle lit dinner. A home cooked breakfast can also be served here, or if you prefer outside in the garden area, where most guests enjoy their Devonshire tea.

PICNIC HAMPERS... are also available upon request and include some of the finest local Rutherglen produce including local cheeses, home cooked meats, selection of local pickles, salad and fruit, freshly baked crusty bread rolls and crackers.

For your comfort the house contains air conditioning and heating ensuring that you will always be comfortable during your stay. All floors are original polished timber.
