The place for those who value nature and tranquility, the construction of this stand-alone luxury cabin has just been finished and it is now ready for guests just in time for the best Aurora Borealis season. We recommend booking now as prices won't remain this low when the place is properly up and running, with a slew of hopefully rave reviews below the belt.
The villa is located by Lake Inari 5km from Inari village centre, with no other inhabited buildings close by, and with a direct view over Lake Inari all the way up to UNESCO World Heritage site Ukonkivi. The large windows allow for gazing for northern lights from the comfort of your own bed, and the spacious sauna can easily fit in even a larger group. Guests can also enjoy their own campfire in the garden, with firewood provided.
Although built for the enjoyment of nature in mind, the building is not lacking in modern amenities, such as wi-fi, hi-fi sound system, and a video projector. Fast induction stove and a roomy freezer/cooler allow for effortless cooking. And for those who rather enjoy guided activities such as husky and snowmobile tours or eating out, Wilderness Hotel Inari is only 2km away.

Wonderful cabin in what felt like the middle of nowhere but can be accessed by car / taxi quite easily with instructions provided
Great location we would definitely go again!!
Fantastic location overlooking the lake. Mid winter, -20C outside, we could step onto the verandah for views and photos of the Aurora when it came by, and jump back inside to warm up. Great sauna, warmed us up after a day out in the snow. Overall, we were so happy with this accommodation. Weeks later we still say it was the best part of our trip.
We (4 adults) stayed at the Villa for two nights. It's enough room for 4 people and you can use the sofa bed for some nights without a problem. It's a beautiful and peaceful place. Would recommend the stay!
Some details:
The sauna is great! Just keep in mind that it needs about 2 hours to heat.
The Villa is at the end of a road so be careful if there is a lot of fresh snow. We had the bad luck to snow shovel for 1 hour at the last day in order to get back to the road.
Only real negative point was that there were lots of dog hair in the cabin especially on the sofa. Seems there were dog owners staying at the Villa before we arrived and it was not very good cleaned.
Beside that all clean and nice!
Super emplacement isolé et propice à la contemplation. Equiments au top.Sauna intérieur très agréable. En revanche ,chauffage au sol insuffisant uniquement dans la pièce principale en periode de grand froid. Je recommande.
Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location. Loved everything about our stay. Just steps from the lake and so much beauty and peace around. Wish we could stay there longer.
The four of us really enjoyed our stay at Villa Váibmu. The interior is stylish and modern, with a well equipped kitchen. The location on the lake was great and gave us amazing views of the northern lights. In the area we could do many winter sports activities and even walk on the frozen lake. We highly recommend this accommodation! :)

I'm originally from a Sami family of reindeer herders in Inari, however currently I work and reside in London. I had this villa built to the highest standards to enjoy it during my visits back home, and rent it when I'm not around. You won't find anything similar on the shores of Lake Inari.
Why they chose this property
CNN has listed Lake Inari as one of the most beautiful places in Europe year-around, and as the perfect backdrop for watching the Northern Lights. Come and see what all the fuzz is about by yourself.
