Our Cottage is suitable for a romantic getaway for 2, a family or 2 small families or groups of 8 friends.
Wantana Cottage Farm stay is a 3 Bedroom, bright airy house, with big windows in every room, giving our guests spectacular views and fresh country air in every season.
Our beds are very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Bedroom 1: Queen Bed, Bedroom 2: Double bed, Bedroom 3: Tri Bunk and King single.
Due to Covid linen is not provided.
Towels are provided.
Woolen Blankets and Electric Blankets if needed are provided in winter.
We have heating/cooling system.

Fully equipped kitchen with huge fridge/freezer. We have a coffee/Espresso Machine for that extra bit of luxury
Everything you need to cook with is here and of course we have a BBQ and great outdoor setting for you to take in the spectacular views with a glass of wine/beer with family and friends.

A country Breakfast hamper consisting on homemade warm bread, farm fresh eggs, bacon from our local butcher and organic rolled oats can be purchased in advance.
Wantana Cottage is just 10kms outside the Beautiful country town of Boorowa. Stroll along the river walk, take in a coffee and bite to eat at the various cafes. Check out the beautiful antique stores and the charming boutique Boorowa has to offer.
We have an IGA store and Butchers for all your grocery needs, or try out our Country pubs and clubs for a drink and dinner, country style.
Boorowa has an Olympic size pool for those hot summer months and a great golf course.
Whether you like to ride or walk around Boorowa, take a country stroll on our farm or sit back with a good wine and take in peace and tranquility with family and friends, Wantana Cottage has it all.
Canberra is only 1 hour and Sydney 3 1/2 hours away
Boorowa is situated between 4 other lovely country towns
1/2 hour from Young and the local wineries & Cherry festival. 50mins from Cowra and the famous Japanese Gardens and Cowra wineries.
1/2 hour from Yass and Harden. All towns have Farmers Markets on certain Saturdays
We are also only 50 mins from Wyangla Dam or Burrinjuck Dam.
Our "Wantana" Farm & Boorowa
Our Country Cottage you will be staying in was originally a Jackaroo quarters that has now been renovated.
As you will be staying on our family run property, you will have the opportunity to see lots sheep and if you wish at certain times of the year to see lambing and shearing.
Sharee also is a fitness Instructor and has Pilates Classes Tuesday, Wednesdy & Thursdays and takes Women's walking groups on Friday and Saturday mornings at 7am. If anyone would like to join me please book or let me know when you arrive.
My Husband and I are happy to show you around the property if time permits
We ask you to keep all gates closed and your pets in the cottage yard.
We also ask you to be water wise, as this is a working sheep farm and all water is tank rain water.
Boorowa is a beautiful area, with lots of things to do.
Boorowa has its famous
Irish Wool fest that attracts over 10,000.00 visitors on the Oct long weekend.
Boorowa also has the Country Picnic Races which is a great day out in May.
Our Country Show at the beginning of March is also lots of fun.

COVID-19 NEW RESTRICTIONS AND CLEANING PROCEDURES
To all our special guests, we would like to inform you that we have had to put our cleaning fees up due to the Covid-19 procedure and new policies that must be followed for all our safety. Due to Covid-19 the cleaning of our Farmstay has doubled, we now give the quests the optuion to bring all their own linen, or I can provide everything as ask you to strip your own beds and place all linen ( sheets, doona covers, mattress protectors, towels, bath mats and tea towels etc) eand place them in provided bags which are near the bottom of the double bunk) The entire house is cleaned from top to bottom and then our entire cottage is disinfected after cleaning.
All cleaning sponges, clothes, gloves etc for kitchen, laundry, bathroom and all other rooms are used once only then disposed of.
The disinfected we use is hospital grade to make sure there is no risk of Covid-19 and the whole house and everything in it is then sprayed with disinfected and left for 36 hours min before the next guests can enter.
This is considerable expense and time and we are trying to keep prices down.
We now have a 2 night min to further reduce risk.
Wantana Cottage Farmstay hopes that all our guests understand the price increase and appreciate the extent that we are going to keep you, us and our community safe.
We are still here to answer any questions you might have and give suggestions of what you may do while you stay with us.
We also offer home made bread and farm eggs when available for anyone that wishes to still take advantage of this complementary offer. (we will be using gloves and extreme hygiene procedures to deliver this complementary basket to you as we still want you to experience the Farmstay experience.
