Elanora Rose Cottage provides premium accommodation just one hour south of Adelaide, in the heart of the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Elanora Rose is centrally located between Goolwa and Victor Harbor, perfect for exploring all that is on offer, such as amazing walking/bike trails, boutique shopping, markets and food and wine trails. If relaxing is more your style visit our lovely beaches or take the cockle train to view the scenery along the coast. With the famous Port Elliot Bakery, Pubs and Cafes only meters from your door, there is no need to take the car. Just enjoy a leisurely 10 minute stroll to Horseshoe Bay, if you don't stop to shop or grab a bite to eat!

Built in 1900, Elanora Rose has been beautifully renovated, with a secure private yard, off street parking and lovely lawns for the kids to play. Outdoor dining is provided with BBQ facilities for those long summer nights. There is also an outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach. Sit outside under the covered decking and enjoy the NEW outdoor cinema with Blueray/Netflix/Stan. You can also connect your Spotify with the surround sound system. This is perfect for your family movie night with popcorn.

The fully equipped kitchen and dining is a comfortable space to entertain. There are three generous bedrooms, two with queen size beds, and the third has 2 wrought iron singles and one double sofa bed. All bed linen and towels are provided. A porta cot is available on request. Other conveniences include ceiling fans and heaters in each bedroom, reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge and dining areas, washing machine, dryer and iron. In the lounge area there is a 47 inch 3D TV/Fetch/Netflix. The children's room provides a 26 inch TV and various books and games.

In winter, you can warm up to a roaring fire with a glass of wine or maybe toast a few marshmallows. The fire place really creates a mood and ambiance that can't be beaten.
Elanora Rose provides a high level of comfort for all family members.
We supply most of the everyday goods you need in a kitchen and bathroom including coffee beans for the automatic coffee machine and a selection of teas.

Good location and everything was clean. Check in was easy, clear communication from the owners. However, the projector has a sensitive chord and and was tricky to work. The coffee machine wasn't working. Theres no butter or paper towel, little things that make a big difference. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your review and glad that you enjoyed stay. In regard to the issue with the cinema and as we mention in our entry details, "If you need assistance with anything, eg ,the coffee machine etc, just give me a call." As the projector is only visible at night and we clean at daylight, we can't rectify any issues unless we are made aware of them. A phone call would have fixed the issue. I'm sorry you had an issue with the coffee machine as it is new and certainly not cheap, a simple switching off the power and back on again to reset the computer solved the issue. We are dissapointed that you had a problem with it, but this was completely out of our control, as maintenence is always stringently carried out. Again a simple phone call to us would have resolved the issue. In regard to supplying butter and paper towels, I believe what we supply is more than ample as we are a Holidy House, not a BnB. In the last 10 years that we have oppereated our Holiday Home , we have never had a complaint in what we supply and offer, in fact, the opposite. Thank you for staying with us and glad that you enjoiyed your stay.

Relaxing retreat

Port Elliot Stay

Historical old house in great location within walking distance to Pubs and Shops, dog friendly and fenced, great location to explore the area, the property itself does need attention with a few items, especially the TV setup is a problem turning on and off, but apart from that we enjoyed our stay
