Château d'Eau, spacious and quiet flat in the centre of Sète

A very bright and spacious 105m2 flat on the 2nd floor of a traditional building, facing South.
All renewed in 2014/2015, with 3 individual bedrooms, this fully-equipped luxury flat is located in front of the 19th century botanic garden, le Château d'Eau.
Most of the rooms have a view of the park and from the 10 m long balcony, you can see Mt St Clair and the Mediterranean sea. All rooms have double glazed windows or balconies.
All household electrical appliances and beddings have been renewed in Oct. 2012.
Ideally located in the town centre, 15 mn walk from the train station and close to the fish market and all shops, no need for a car as you can visit main sites by foot and enjoy strolling along quays.
The botanic garden facing the flat is also an ideal quiet place to get fresh air in summer.
In summertime, you may enjoy a concert at the théatre de la Mer, a unique stunning place built on a cliff, above the sea (15 mn walk from the flat).
Many different festivals take place from June to September aiming at all types of audiences, from the World wide festival to Fiesta Latina or the Poetry festival...

Better than the pictures!

Stayed here for two nights and was so sad to leave! It was a very last minute plan and Colette responded right away. My biggest impression was that this flat was much better than the pictures. It was so clean, the bedrooms are very spacious, the living room was bright and open, the ceilings are high, the kitchen has everything you need, I could go on. It was also so nice to open the doors in the living room and hear the water from the fountain in the garden. Made everything so soothing. The location is perfect short walk to the main part of town and part of that walk is through the gardens. Overall, I really hope I can come back at some point in my life. Thank you Colette!

Perfectly appointed holiday apartment. Full of character and superbly located.

So lucky to have this beautifully appointed and relaxing property available for our summer vacation. Fantastically located in the heart of the old town in the middle of an unadulterated neighbourhood. Nearby boulangeries within a 5 min walk meant fresh croissants were readily on hand every morning. With in 10mins is the fabulous Les Halles market and the many quayside restaurants/ bars. Outside the apartment are the relaxing Jardins du Chateau d'Eau. Beaches are a 15-20min walk but quieter ones are a bus ride away. Trois Digues with its super cool Praia beach bar/ rest't was a well received recommendation as was the local delicacy Tielle Setoise pie. All suggested by the amazingly accommodating Colette who's place this is. Also worth a visit is the 20min traipse up to the Mont Clair for a panaromic view of Sete and it's surroundings...be warned it's a steep climb (there's a bus if preferable) but especially worth it at sunset. A little further afield are amusement/ water parks and the foothills of the Pyrenees. Boats, jet-skis and scooters were also available for rent at reasonable rates considering our visit was at high season. We will definitely be returning!

Excellente semaine à Sète dans l'appartement de Colette

J'ai passé une très belle semaine dans l'appartement de Colette avec mes deux ados de 14 et 17 ans. Très bien agencé, l'appartement est spacieux et lumineux, avec de grandes fenêtres qui donnent sur le parc Simone Veil. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement, la gentillesse et l'accueil de Colette qui a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Bref, je recommande chaleureusement cette location qui a grandement contribué à rendre nos vacances à Sète formidables ! Nous reviendrons !

Très bon emplacement. Idéal pour l'été car problème de plombs qui sautent quand les radiateurs sont allumés et que l'on veut faire fonctionner le four ou 2 plaques. Les 2 télés ne fonctionnaient pas mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé.

Appartement très calme et agréable en plein centre de Sète

Famille avec 3 enfants, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Sète. L'appartement est très bien situé, dans une rue calme proche des Halles - à ne pas rater! - et des commerces. Les 3 chambres sont grandes et confortables et la cuisine très bien équipée. Nous avons profité de belles promenades au calme en bord de mer et de délicieuses assiettes de fruits de mer. Merci à Colette pour son accueil!

Very good experience.

The apartment is in a very central location of Sete, 5 min walk to the canal and the market. It's roomy and comfortable. The double pane windows keep street noises out. The apartment is facing a park, so you see mostly trees out the windows. It's simply furnished, but the 3 beds are comfortable and all the basics are covered. We were 3 adults, but 2-3 couples or a family with kids would fit comfortably. It's very good value for the money. Only negative points we had were the bathroom missing a shower head holder - sadly not uncommon in France- and the very slow wifi connection. All in all, we had a good time and I recommend the place.

Ideale Ferienwohnung für die Familie!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gelegen, keine fünf Minuten bis zum Stadtzentrum und trotzdem sehr ruhig. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht (und womöglich vergessen hat) und ist gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet. Unsere ganze Familie (drei Töchter mit 18, 13 und 5 Jahren) hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist ausgesprochen nett und entgegenkommend, gab uns tolle Ausflugstipps und Empfehlungen für Restaurants. Kurz: ein rundum gelungener Urlaub!

Un très bel appartement, clair, plein sud, vues sur le parc et le port marchand, calme, très propre au centre de Sète. Une propriétaire responsable charmante qui vous attend dans la rue à votre arrivée et qui réserve votre place de parking, vous donne de bonnes adresses, se tient à votre disposition pour tout problème. Franchement, il serait idiot de louer ailleurs !

situation idéale pour un séjour à sete

Appartement lumineux et spacieux, très bien situé au centre ville, proche de tous les centres d intérêt, ce qui permet de profiter du séjour sans avoir besoin de voiture. Si se garer devant l appartement reste difficile en aout, un grand parking gratuit est disponible à 5 minutes. . La situation en face du parc est très agréable. L accueil par Colette à été très chaleureux. Elle nous a donné de bons conseils sur les restaurants et activités locales à faire durant nos vacances.. Nous avons d ailleurs eu la chance de séjourner à sete durant les fêtes de la saint louis et de profiter de l ambiance très festive de la ville à cette occasion. A recommander !

A Comfortable, Roomy Place to Stay

Colette's flat was spacious and well cared for. Its close-in location and proximity to the park were great added benefits. We were very comfortable there. Colette was quick to address our questions and concerns. Guests sensitive to road noise may want to look elsewhere. We had windows open, which kept the place nice and cool, but cars, scooters, and garbage trucks passed by loudly at all hours.

appartement lumineux au coeur de Sète

Situé au second étage d'un immeuble de centre ville, cet appartement profite d'un bel ensoleillement et d'une belle vue sur le parc en face. Le salon est très spacieux ainsi que les chambres et on ne se sent pas à l'étroit même à six comme c'était le cas pour nous. De plus, il y a le balcon qui court sur toute la largeur de l'appartement et qui est très agréable. La cuisine est bien équipée et très fonctionnelle. La salle de bain est par contre assez petite et les toilettes sont à l'intérieur. De nombreux parkings sont à disposition aux alentours. Nous avons trouvé un appartement très propre à notre arrivée et le système de ménage après séjour est très pratique et à des prix raisonnables. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec la propriétaire avant et après le séjour et ses conseils se sont avérés très pertinents. Sète est une belle ville, elle vit à l'opposé de certains ports de plaisance où il n'y a personne l'hiver. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour et nous ne pouvons que conseiller cette location.

grosszügige gemütliche Wohnung im quirligen Sète

Wir verbrachten eine sehr entspannte Woche zu sechst in dieser hübsch und persönlich eingerichteten, hellen Wohnung. Unsere beiden Kinder (3+5 Jahre) nahmen die Wohnung vom ersten Moment in Beschlag - ein gutes Zeichen. Die Nähe zum lebendigen Stadtzentrum, der grüne Park als wunderbare Kulisse und Spielraum in unmittelbarer Nähe und das relativ ruhige Quartier mit feinem Bäcker gleich nebenan machen die Wohnung für Erwachsene wie Kinder zum idealen Stützpunkt. Die charmante Vermieterin ist äusserst hilfsbereit und reagiert immer sofort auf alle Anfragen. Wenn wir etwas aussetzen müssten: Das Kinderzimmer erschien uns verglichen mit den anderen Zimmern etwas düster. Die Nasszelle ist zweckmässig, aber nicht luxuriös. Und das Schloss der Hauseingangstüre lässt sich nur mit dem richtigen Dreh öffnen, was öfters Geduld erforderte. Die Wohnung wird uns in sehr guter Erinnerung bleiben und wir können sie wärmstens empfehlen!

Appartement très agréable

Cet appartement est très bien situé, tout proche du centre ville est des halles (à voir absolument). Nous avons trouvé l'appartement très spacieux, calme, très bien équipé et très propre. Nous avons était accueilli très chaleureusement pas Colette, la propriétaire, grâce à qui nous avons pu tester les meilleures adresses de Sète! Nous le recommandons vivement!

A charming flat in the centre of Sete

We stayed in Colette's apartment during Worldwide Festival, and were very happy with the charming flat. It really has everything you need for your stay, from a dishwasher to a sound system. It's perfectly located for getting to the different WW venues. I loved the little details, the comfortable sofas and balconies! I definitely recommend it, and have lots of fond memories from our summer in Sete. Merci bien Colette et pour les tielles aussi!

un appartement chaleureux et agréable

Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement, très bien situé, en pleine ville mais calme malgré tout. La voiture est inutile; on est à deux minutes des Halles, proche également du port et de la mer. Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 3 ans, nous avons trouvé l'appartement spacieux, clair, agréable et très chaleureux grâce à l'accueil de Colette, irréprochable. L'équipement est très complet, tout a été rénové, le confort est au rendez-vous. Un très bon séjour, à rééditer en été, pourquoi pas? Nous lui attribuons sans hésiter la note maximale et le recommandons sans réserve.

Trés agréable et bien situé

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants) dans cet appartement très agréable et très bien situé en plein centre ville, proche des canaux et de toutes les commodités. Il est au cœur de la ville et au pied d'un jardin public. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour dans cet appartement clair, spacieux, propriétaire souriante et sympathique. Location idéale au coeur de Sète

Nous avons passé un super week-end en famille dans ce chouette appartement! Il est idéalement situé pour découvrir Sète et ses environs. Il est au coeur de la ville tout en offrant un espace aéré et verdoyant: le jardin public au pied de l'immeuble. Nous étions 6 adultes et 2 bébés et nous avons apprécié l'espace et le confort de ce logement. A refaire... Je recommande fortement cette location.

Adresse à retenir pour découvrir Sète

Nous sommes venus à Sète en famille (3 enfants). L'appartement est très bien situé, en centre-ville. Cet appartement est spacieux, clair, bien agencé et conforme à la description. Et le parc est une source agréable de fraicheur! Cela nous a permis de passer une excellente semaine de vacances et nous avons pu profiter de Sète et des alentours avec un réseau de bus très pratique. Une mention spéciale à la propriétaire des lieux qui a fait le maximum pour nous prévoir un séjour agréable (accueil, taxi, adresses..). Adresse à retenir pour visiter Sète et découvrir cette ville
