Seaside getaway in Barwon heads

Escape the norm with a relaxing fun filled break at this contemporary two storey home. Its spacious interior features two living zones, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a games room with a billiards, pool table and dart board

This beautiful two storey home is situated on the spectacular 13th beach golf course resort in Barwon Heads. The open plan living sees the kitchen area open to a large living room. Glazed doors open to the balcony deck so you can enjoy outdoor dining, bbq and views. The lower living is spacious with kitchenette and wide access to an undercover deck and north facing backyard.

It’s a about a twenty minute walk through the golf course to the actual 13th beach - a great surf beach, and a ten minute car journey into Barwon Heads and all its shops and restaurants. Tennis courts are also available to use for free on the grounds.

Out of respect to our neighbours, events, parties or loud music are not permitted at any time. We have a 10pm curfew on noise and have a $400 noise bond. We discourage large groups of golfers as this has created noise issues in the past.

Great Stay

My family and I spent a week staying at this property just prior to Christmas. The location was peaceful with the house overlooking one of the fairways. We enjoyed the downstairs games room and nearby tennis courts and walking around the estate. We definitely recommend staying here.

The house and location are spacious, just what we needed for an extended family get together… well equipped in the kitchen area. Unfortunately we found the level of cleanliness underwhelming especially the fees charged… bumping into rows of old shoes in the reception area and left over food in the fridge not good.

Nice house suitable for group of friends

Hosts were communicative and check in process was smooth. The house had a lot to offer with games provided, pool table, table tennis etc but unfortunately the cleanliness of the house was disappointing for the nightly rate charged. Empty toilet roll left on holder in main bathroom, no extra toilet rolls either, waste bins in all rooms not emptied in all rooms including the kitchen that had used meat trays left in the kitchen bin. Cutlery draw and dishes not clean either and used soap still left in the shower. The house has a lot of potential but unfortunately it needs some simple things attended to like fixing the pool cues and even though cleaning fees are charged with stayz I’m pretty sure this place has not had a good clean in quite some time. Would not return to this property

Dear Sue, We are so sorry to read your review and to learn that the house had not been left in a clean state. We actually paid a cleaner $150 to clean the house for you. It appears that the cleaning company had a new staff on the day that didn’t appear to know much about cleaning. I actually got a call on the day from this staff asking me for the code to get into the house which I thought at the time was strange. We have supplies of toilet paper, soap etc in the house but it appears he was not told where this is kept. we will be making a complaint to the cleaning company and sending through your feedback. We will not be using them again. Please accept our apologies for this situation. Thanks

Plenty of room in the house for our small group. Games room was a great attraction for our 10 y.o. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of books and games for inclimate weather. Only negative was BBQ was dirty on arrival and fans very dusty. Overall a perfect spot for a golfing getaway and great communication from the owner.

Great stay at 13th beach golf course

Lovely home, with amazing views over the golf course. It gets quite cold, but there is plenty of heating options to keep you warm and cosy. Kids loved the trampoline and space. Close walk to the clubhouse, and a nice quiet neighbourhood. Some issues with internet availability (and at times Netflix didn't work) and the gas fireplace was a little tricky to get working at night, but turned on fine during the day. Highly recommend, and would stay again. Thanks so much

Loved the view over the golf course as we ate our breakfast. Everything was clean, instructions to check in were so easy and the house is utterly gorgeous. Truly a wonderful place for a relaxing and fun time away with family and friends with kitchenettes available on the lower and upper levels. Blankets were warm, clean and the rooms are well layed out. The hosts were so lovely to assist us with getting our families checked in whilst we attended our bridesmaids duties and were lovely enough to allow us flexibility on checkout as we recovered from a big day. Incredible Family Home Filled with Activities

This property was excellent, located in a beautiful golf course with a driving range and free access to tennis courts, the property has a big back yard, a game room with table tennis, pool, darts, foozball, ring toss, board games and way more! The front yard has an enclosed trampoline and the upstairs balcony has a bbq and outdoor dining table. We had an incredible weekend here with more stuff to do than we had time for. Thank you, Swee!
