Highly recommend if you want a private retreat for your family to relax. The property was exactly as pictured in the listing. The kitchen and eating area are huge and had everything we needed to prepare meals and play games. The living area was comfortable with a smart tv. All the bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. We appreciated having space for everyone in our family to do their own thing. The host was very responsive, without being over-bearing. The property itself was large. We visited over the winter so we didn’t spend much time outside. It would be lovely in other seasons.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was great to have room for the whole family.

Beautiful Place and Conveniently Locates
A great and beautiful home located very conveniently to Asheville but far enough away to escape. Had plenty of room for us to gather together. Plan to stay here every time we come to Asheville.

Thank you so much for the great review! We are very happy you enjoyed your stay!
This house is great for family stays in Asheville. Situated up on a hill, it has space for game time, gathering, a large communal kitchen opening up to a dining room and fantastic outdoor spaces. Check in was a breeze and we were very happy with the house!
Spacious house with 5 bedroom, 3 baths, and plenty of hang-out space. Not far from downtown.

Perfect spot for a group.
We came up for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The house was perfect - plenty of space, beautiful views, and close to downtown. Thanks so much!
My family attended an event at the Biltmore and this house was the perfect place to house all 8 of us for our NC visit. Spacious house for a group. Although we didn't spend a ton of time at the house due to being at events, I know that it would be the perfect place to just hang out with family and friends.
Great kitchen and den gathering space. Plenty of space for our 4 family group. Set up well with plenty of necessary items. Wish the weather had allowed us to explore the property more, but easy access to downtown Asheville.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Avondale Mountain because of its natural scenery, peaceful atmosphere and it's surprisingly close to downtown. Being able to walk to Shoji isn't too bad either!
