Built in 2015 from locally sourced materials this attractive Queensland timber house is light and spacious, it is stylishly appointed and well equipped with all the comforts of home and the latest technology. Accommodating up to 8 guests in 3 large bedrooms with king/twin beds and en-suite bathrooms with bath and separate walk in shower.
All bedrooms have a 40 inch flat screen TV with free to air satellite service, small kitchenette with fridge and private balconies with vistas overlooking the farm pastures.
The main living area is open plan with a large modern kitchen and comfortable lounge/dining area with 60 inch flat screen TV, blue ray player and blue tooth compatible sound system. The indoor lounge area includes a queen size fold out sofa bed, comfortably sleeping 2.
There is also a full size laundry room including washer and dryer and a fourth bedroom with toilet and shower.
An alfresco entertaining area with barbecue kitchen and dining table and chairs overlooks the manicured lawns and gardens.
Undercover parking is available for two vehicles.

During your stay you can experience life on a working cattle station, meet the station manager and learn about the inner workings of this 3,000 acre property or try your hand as a cattleman if your stay coincides with a cattle muster.
On the station itself, visit Mt Annie and explore the remains of the original sugar plantation homestead built in 1882. Enjoy a spot of tidal salt water estuary fishing at Plantation Creek or fresh water fishing at Gap Creek, catch barramundi, jungle perch or mangrove jack among many other tropical species. Discover the unique diversity of bird life in this region, Gap Creek is an ideal spot for birders and wildlife photographers alike.

Mount Louis Station is located close to Bloomfield, 200km north of Cairns and between Cape Tribulation and Cooktown. From Cairns the journey will take approximately 4 hours. The station can be reached by road either via Cape Tribulation and the famous Bloomfield track, considered one of the finest drives in Australia (4WD required) or via the Mulligan Highway, which takes you further inland through the Great Dividing Range. From Cooktown the 60km journey will take approximately an hour.
Mount Louis has its own airstrip with a sealed runway for private or chartered aircraft.
