Its just not worth it
The place has abundant potential if it was taken care of. First directions are very vague. There are street names on the way up and not one is mentioned. The directions need to be printed very large and in a different color or you will never read them as you drive. And no there is no formal address. Your GPS will go in and out as you travel. The security guard was on her first day and knew nothing of the house even as we showed her paperwork. Once we found the green gate upon entering we were hit with a very hot and moldy smell. The keys do not include one to kitchen so I climbed through the opening to get to door. Upon inspecting the rest of the house way too many switches that do nothing. Opening all the shutters to get a breeze only invited every insect to come in and bite. Thus the netting over the bed. The master has the only air conditioner. As I made my way to the pool that was the clincher. Solid mold throughout and the wood stairs are about to give way if you do not take care. It was now dark and there was no way we were getting in the rental and going down the mountain. I called and emailed owner who called me back and agreed to my request for a refund. I am sitting in the airport and have not heard a word since last Wednesday night. The only nice surprise was Gertrude the maid who showed up the next morning around 6 AM with no warning. We woke up anxious to get out of there and we smelled coffee. Gertrude the maid was a great and agreed with us leaving.
