Welcome to Tailgate Key! This unique vacation property is located in the Key West Golf Club Community set amongst lush tropical landscaping, beautiful greens and fairways of the Rees Jones designed 18-hole course. There are gorgeous views of the lake and golf course from the furnished screened outdoor deck. This gated community includes a fitness center and two beautiful pools in an Old Town Key West setting. Tailgate Key is a spacious 1,320 square foot newly remodeled & furnished property. There is easy & close access to the home from the security gate. One of the larger homes in the golf course, it is conveniently located near the fitness center and pool. The two spacious upstairs bedrooms each have a private bath with flat screen TV’s, new queen bedroom furnishings, and ample closets. The downstairs has two pullout sleeper sofas- one is the living room and one in a private room off the kitchen. There is a third full-size bathroom downstairs with a washer and dryer and shower stall. Enjoy included WI-FI and an open kitchen boasting new stainless steel appliances, Corian counters, and a convenient breakfast/cocktail bar. Enjoy the beautiful professionally landscaped brick-paved backyard overlooking the second hole. It is also walking distance to the public golf clubhouse and VFW restaurant and bar as well as very close to numerous restaurants and water activities.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd time staying at the Golf Course and it was wonderful. The location is perfect. The interior of our rental home was beautifully decorated. The exterior landscaping is need of a thorough cleanup (weeds, overgrown shrubs, etc). That wouldn't change our recommendation to a friend. We thoroughly enjoyed all the attractions and restaurant choices in Stock Island and Key West, and can't wait to come back next year.

The furnishings looked brand new, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. Michelle Menard from Compass Realty did a great job of communicating with us before and during our stay. Michelle is a real asset to Compass.
