Summary:
Overlooking the Coorong Lagoon, Coorong Cabins are the perfect place to stay and explore the natural beauty of the Coorong National Park.

The Coorong Cabins are nestled in an award wining garden and they provide a private place to relax after a day of exploring.

Pelican Cabin sleeps 4 in two King Size bedrooms. Pelican Cabin is fully air conditioned and comes complete with a combustion heater and wood to ensure that your stay is comfortable whatever the weather.

The Space:
Coorong Cabins are located in an award winning garden at Noonamena, in the heart of the Coorong National Park.

Noonamena is the ideal place to explore the Coorong National Park as it is close to the amenities of Meningie (10 minutes) and is close to key Coorong access points like Marks Point, Long Point and Tauwitchere Barrage.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to all of the amenities of Pelican Cabin.

Pelican Cabin has two king sized bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom and a generous deck that overlooks the garden.

Pelican Cabin is fully equipped with hammocks (for lying around on the deck), canoes (to explore the Coorong), DVD's, books and games.

All guests have access to a Games Room that includes a bar, darts and more games, books and entertainments. Four bikes for adults and four bikes for the children are also supplied.

When weather permits, there is a fire pit for guests to use, a sunset viewing deck and a guest laundry.

A camp kitchen is located immediately adjacent to the Pelican Cabin, extending your space and access. Relax with a BBQ and a wine at the end of a day's exploring.

The Neighborhood:
Coorong Cabins are located ten (10) minutes from Meningie.

Meningie is a popular stop over point for people travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road. Meningie has good shopping facilities with two supermarkets, a bank, a Hotel, a restaurant and other services like a hairdresser, information centre and coffee shops.

Getting Around:
Off road parking is available at Coorong Cabins providing you peace of mind.

Unfortunately, there is no public transport or taxi's servicing Meningie.

Other Things to Note:
Coorong Cabins are located 10 minutes from Meningie. Shops close in Meningie at 6.30pm - Upon arrival guests receive a bottle of SA Wine, box of Melba’s Chocolates, voucher to Meningie Hotel and Coorong Brewing Co, freshly baked bread, freshly ground coffee, milk, cereal, Beerenberg jams, condiments and much much more! Help yourself to the fresh produce from our seasonal veggie patch or collect your own eggs from our resident chooks!

All beds are supplied with an electric blanket.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Thank you for another wonderful stay at your beautiful property. We last visited 7 years ago and we were not disappointed!! Everything was still in wonderful condition and so many thoughtful gestures from the fresh bread, wine, hammocks and more. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. We love being so close to water and having access to the Kayaks. We look forward to our next Mother and daughter stay 😊

PERFECT getaway on Coorong

Superlatives can’t do justice to this place. It’s peaceful, beautiful, set in natural surroundings and the facilities exceed all expectations. Mik the friendly owner has thought of EVERYTHING- there are facilities for all kinds of outdoor & indoor activities, kids are well catered for and the kitchen and pantry are well stocked for your needs. It is a drive to the shops but you hardly need to! Never stayed in accommodation which has such thoughtful facilities.

Well as I said in the visitors book ...It doesn't get any better than this ...If you are looking for affordable luxury ....multi purpose accommodation ..ie...family friendly, a romantic weekend or terrific place to stay with a couple of small group of friends...right near the Coorong....2 hours south of Adelaide In a semi remote area ...Coorong Cabins, in our case Pelican ...its perfect ...The setting , the amazing attention to detail for your every need , the award winning native garden , plus access to a veggie patch , for us this included luscious blackberries and fresh chook eggs ... board games , kayaks, bikes , games room, hammocks and an extraordinarily generous( and i really mean that) host in Mik ..who addition to everything else... provided balloons ,champagne and chocolates for the birthday girl ...as I said in the heading unbelievably perfect ...three days of bliss ...much Gratitude

Great place with excellent facilities

This place has everything, my toddler was so excited with the trampoline, sand pit and chickens. We were able to use the kayak and life jackets for a paddle one morning. The bread and fresh eggs were amazing as was the coffee machine. The presentation and cleanliness of this place was next level, I have never stayed somewhere so clean, kudos to the cleaner. And thank you Mik for a wonderful stay, I wish you well!

Our stay in the Pelican cabin was excellent and exceeded our expectations! My husband and I took our 14 year old son and 4 year old daughter and there was plenty for all of us. Mik has provided everything you could possibly need or want! Kayaking, fishing and feeding the chooks were the highlights for all of us! The cabin is luxury... super clean and beautifully appointed. Mik is a super friendly host and very helpful.We loved our stay and will be telling all our family and friends about it. We plan to be back again!!

Coorong Cabins was a truly relaxing environment to return too after a day of exploring!

Mik was an exceptional host and has created a very relaxing garden environment. Fantastic facilities for all ages including kayaks, trampoline, games room (pool table, darts etc - great for teenage kids to escape to) a beautiful vege patch and chooks for fresh eggs each morning! The cabins are equipped with great board games, music and dvds for evening entertainment. The shared bbq area was a lovely protected outdoor dining space, available each night to cook our coorong mullet. Mik also gave us great advice regarding walks/rides/swimming/kayaking/4wding suitable for our family and the weather conditions. A truly relaxing short holiday we would highly recommend for all ages! Absolutely remarkable

The host Mik, is an absolute legend. He's knowledgeable, friendly and a fantastic host. On arrival we were greeted to a nice warm cabin, a fire that was already going, fresh bread and milk in the fridge. Mik had thought of literally everything. He'd even prepared the outdoor log fire heater with wood, paper and kindling - so all we had to do was light it. The attention to detail was extremely impressive - one of our party forgot their toothbrush, and on arrival we found one had been provided! The cabin was fully stocked with everything you would ever need for a holiday (We found backpacks, chairs, fishing rods, multiple kayaks, bikes, hats, towels, even shoes! Even the movies provided were all recent (past 6 months to a year). Beds we're comfortable. Bathroom was clean - and everything was modern. Mik's property included a games room that was extremely well equipped with a pool table, dart board, foosball table and even a mini bar! Will definitely be coming back. 10/10 Keep up the great work Mik!

Great stay, awesome for kids, the owner has everything covered - even things you wont think of. there are fresh veggies, chooks, sea kayaks, bikes for kids, great native gardens, amazing outdoor bbq area, snacks on arrival for breaky and lunch and a bottle of wine. The best accommodation I've experienced travelling with family. Thumbs up!
