Dip Bend Maleny - self contained apartment

Dip Bend Maleny is a renovated two bedroom apartment nestled well back from the road on 10 acres. Please note that although private, this apartment is attached to the main residence.

If you require 2 bedrooms, please book for a minimum of 3 people.


The property provides peace, quiet and lovely rural views. The apartment deck looks onto a mature fig tree and other rain-forest species and bedrooms overlook a citrus grove. Greenery is everywhere! We have endeavoured to create a welcoming, fresh, modern and tasteful environment that guests will find relaxing and reviving.

Walk up the front stairs into the tastefully furnished open plan dining, kitchen and lounge. The kitchen has a fridge, oven, gas cook-top, microwave and dishwasher. Crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle and various pots and pans for cooking are also provided. The open plan space has a reverse cycle air-conditioner to ensure guests are warm in winter, cool in summer.

Wifi is available in the apartment although the internet service is not reliable in our location. You may not be able to use streaming services or download movies due to limited data speeds. We have provided a stereo player (CD's and device compatible) and a a TV. There is also a small selection of DVDs and a DVD player. The open plan living area opens onto a verandah room and a deck at the rear of the apartment looking over the garden. There are laundry facilities off this room (tub, washer and drying racks).

The two bedrooms both have Sealy Queen sized beds, made up with fresh white cotton sheets. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for guests comfort, although it is quite cool most evenings in Maleny. The lovely large bathroom has a rain shower and freestanding bath to soak in and we provide towels and a hairdryer for guests use.

The shared driveway and parking area is at the front of the building. There is plenty of room to park a caravan or trailer if required.

Maleny is a thriving hinterland town with plenty of cafes and unique retail offerings. Dip Bend Maleny is located around 3 km out of the Maleny town-ship. The hinterland has numerous attractions catering to a wide variety of recreational activities. Just down the road from us is the picturesque Baroon Pocket Dam with a playground, picnic and BBQ area – a lovely spot for an evening picnic dinner. Also close by is the Maleny Golf Club and Driving range, Gardners Falls, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, the Maleny Botanical Gardens and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk. If food is your thing, there are a number of popular local restaurants to choose from in and around the township.

If you are planning to stay with us to attend one of the many weddings Maleny is now famous for hosting, there is a taxi service available in the area and many of the Wedding Venues operate their own shuttle bus services.
