Everything was very clean and the house was set up to be very inviting from the moment you walked in. The kitchen had everything needed for general cooking purposes. Games were supplied as was wood for the fire and the towels smelt amazing and were fluffy and white. We’d love to return. A second bathroom would be a great addition- but we know this is an expensive thing to change. At least there was a second toilet.

Another wonderful holiday

Our yearly winter trip to Pepper Tree is something our family looks forwards to each year. The dogs were very happy running around in the large enclosed property and we always enjoy too many toasted marshmallows at the firepit. Thank you Mary for your warm welcome. Can't wait to come back again next year :)

Absolutely perfect place to unwind!

Thankyou Mary for welcoming us to your beautiful clean and cosy farm house. We instantly felt at home. This is the perfect base to get back to nature and explore the wilderness of Girraween National Park. We all had a wonderful time (including our pooch) and will definitely be staying again. Next time it will be for a longer stay! Anjie and Steve

Well equipped cosy cottage

We stayed at Mary's property for a long weekend and it was warm, and well equipped with everything you might need. Plenty of firewood and heated floor in the bathroom was an added perk! Navigating the driveway in a low car in the dark was difficult but manageable. Internet reception was poor, although we didn't mind. Would stay again as it was great for a large group!

Lovely cottage admist beautiful scenery

We really enjoyed our stay at pepper tree. Fantastic location close to the national park, wineries, jamworks, washpool and the all important chocolate shop. However, you needn't even stray from the property as it is riddled with great walking trails and it is lovely sitting by a wood fire looking at the sun set over the dam. Our dog loved the fully fenced secure yard chasing all the kangaroos and our baby really enjoyed the toys that were thoughtfully provided. I can definitely see why my parents keep returning and I'm sure we will be doing the same.

Wonderful country winter

This is our second trip to Pepper Tree and we enjoyed it immensely again. The property is well heated, very clean and has all the mod cons that anyone needs for a holiday. The highlight as always is enjoying God’s creation in the amazing Girraween National Park which is only 5 minutes away. Apart from eating too many toasted marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit, it has been a perfect holiday. We look forward to coming back again soon. Thanks Mary for a wonderful stay.

Cosy family winter getaway

This property has everything you need and more. The piano was a winner with my children. After daily hiking, they spent many hours in the living room with the fire on and play and sing. The outdoor fire pit set up was ver enjoyable as well. We would start the fire pit going from 4, sit in serenity and watch the Sun set over the pond. We had a great time. Thanks Pepper Tree.

Private, quiet, perfect!

We rented Pepper Trees for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed for a week. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for an extended family of 7, plenty of room for us all. Beds were comfortable, doonas warm and pillows soft. The outdoor fire pit was a win, we didn’t even light the indoor fire. The property is located in the perfect spot if you enjoy walking and exploring nature, and want something a little removed from the hustle of life. Mary is a wonderful host who answered my many questions very quickly and accommodated our requests very kindly. Thank you Mary, we’ll be back!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented, with a well stocked kitchen that made meal prep easy and enjoyable. It’s in a great location just a short, scenic drive to some amazing local wineries like Pyramid Road Wines and Balancing Heart Vineyard. Our favourite part was spending the evenings around the fireplace, playing games and sipping on the wines we’d picked up during the day.The bathroom was modern and spotless, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Beds were super comfortable we all slept really well.Mary was a breeze to communicate with, and the check-in process was seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, wine-filled escape!

Fires, wine and warmth

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful few nights at Pepper Tree. The beds and doonas were super warm and the heated floor in the bathroom was a winner. The fireplace was terrific for gathering in the evening. Mary was so easy to liaise with and while the internet was patchy, we were after a relaxing sress free time. The local wallabies were all part of the charm. Easy distance to plenty of wineries and other attractions. A winner!

A lWine and Girraween escape

Our group had a lovely stay in this well equipped, comfortable and warm house. The location is quiet and beautifully located, backing onto the Girraween National park. The views from the front verandah across the region to the distant mountains were particularly spectacular. A great spot for a morning cuppa or an afternoon snifter of your favourite tipple. We loved it.
